Back in the old days of glory of 928, Strosek was among the first to modify & tune the 928 and not just up-grade the power, adding crazy wider body-kit, and different rims but they went full-up to even doing butterfly doors opening on it.. Koenig was also a crazy special shop that did modify few 928 looking much wider & bad-ass.. So, to say this Nardone is a first to mod a 928 is not quite accurate..

Same here with the head lights. I just watched the video and I really do not like them. For me, it's the four small lights. I'd prefer a ring of LEDs at the perimeter.
Thanks for this. I’ve had my eyes on these guys for a few months now. That early mock up/prototype looks fantastic, inside and out. There is great potential for success with a car like this and I really hope they make it into production. Ideally, by that time, they can find a bit more power! Although it’s not intended as a high performance car, it is still a sports GT car and, in this day and age - for that hefty price - I think customers would expect nearer 500bhp (at least) … ! The most successful resto-mods and recreations in the market tend to offer modern car (or better) performance.
I never thought of a Restomod 928 but wow it's gorgeous. The headlights need a shroud or something behind the headlights. Now I'm eager to see a 944 Turbo Restomod.
This car is a piece of art. I love the sensibilities that have shaped the re-design - Very much a less is more approach. It's particularly evident in the interior.

Only engine I would entertain in this car would be the 6.5L 600HP 450 ft lb of torque custom built by Greg Brown of Precision Motorwerks in California.
This looks stellar, I know there have been comments about price but given in this day and age a 'Resto' Subaru is £550k+ this looks on the money, if I had the cash I would, lovely thing. Good luck Thierry.
@@LiquidPinky I loved the sound of the 32 value Porsche at wide open Throttle. I would choose the 6.2 for its ease of maintenance and reliability. We have 4 customers at my shop that have over 400k miles and never had the heads off.
I thought that air would hate this, but I love it! The changes made to the shape are so intelligent and thought-through! I still have a bumper for one of these and I was considering buying one over ten years ago, when prices of a few of these amazing modern classic sports cars were still affordable. It is one of the greatest regret I have. It’s even a more desirable car than the 8 series BMW, the E30 318is and a few others I was also considering at the time. My other regret is selling the 1983 SL that I bought instead. Cars today are rubbish, disposable and unnecessarily complicated. These cars from the eighties were the best in terms of balance between features, style, power, comfort, running costs, maintenance and practicality.
I bought one of these when a was 22 in the 90s, thinking I was the bee's knees it was an s4. I spent every penny I had and some. What a disaster it was the oil change and service nearly financially ruined me. Then the mechanic said the tyres are gone pull one shock and a long list of others. I had it for 6 months as that's all I could afford on the insurance. I got around the same price I bought it so that was good. But I sent around 2k on it. Great car, fast of the time, lovely inside seats are amazing ' clean squeaky leather. Wish I had kept it, but my amazing financial Skills at 22 wanted a carton 3000 gsi 24v which I bought which was a little cheaper but got stolen off my drive in 3 months and found in a mess. So my insurance went sky high :( great run while it lasted.

Stunningly beautiful update on a classic! Love the car, I can only dream of them being released into 'the wild'. But it's very likely that these will virtually all become garage queens, in the hands of wealthy collectors, so they won't ever be seen anywhere except at car shows, and going to and from car shows. But, so wonderful that you have done this! I miss my 928, but simply had to give it up, as arthritis gradually became too much to overcome in order to keep up the maintenance, as bending and kneeling just became too painful. Best of luck with this project going forward, I will be watching on this channel for updates!
I enjoyed my stock automatic 928. I enjoyed my 5.7 liter manual one a lot more. This thing is pretty awesome, but I can't imagine there are more than a few people willing to shell out that kind of money for a restomodded 928.
Such an incredibly stunning car, a literal driveable work of art! That interior is just breathtaking it looks like a concept car, but is actually usable. There's a lot of truly top notch work that's gone into this amazing car.
In 1985 I bought an S4 and it was a fantastic car. A very solid car that handled really well and could fit my wheelchair in the back. Although I lost my shirt when I sold the car. It dropped 50% in value. When I drove it off the lot. But it was worth every penny. I miss that car.
I remember it it like yesterday in 80s early 90s when my father after 8 different 911s he came with a 928 s and I was in love and shocked.. I forgot my love for 911 in a sec.. It was a beast back then and looked like nothing else

Absolutely amazing!! I was in love with this car as a child. I would take the bus to Moore Porsche Audi in Philadelphia just to stare/look at the cars on the parking lot. My dad had a 5000s. The 928s was always my favorite by far. I later found the interior fittings a bit dated, however this car is but a dream come true!! I absolutely love it my friend!!! 💯 Thanks for sharing!!!
Stunning indeed ! I own a black 5 speed 1983 928 S that has been super charge by 928 Motorsport in Wisconsin . The car is in perfect condition and very solid . You have to get used to that dogleg 2nd gear otherwise it is a wonderful performer !
Well Cool! This is the first Porsche I ever really liked! My Brother-in-Law had one back in the mid-eighties......I had the pleasure of driving from Newcastle to Edinburgh, at 11o'clock at night......with little traffic............Laws were broken..........
It’s more Porschey than the original but there are also elements of Aston, Ferrari and the new Morgan 3-wheeler (although I think the Morgan inspiration is a good one because it’s a similar approach rather than a similar aesthetic, I’m talking about the headlights).

Had an 81 928 for 17 years. I thought it was perfect. I can handle some of this mod, but the front end is atrocious.
