Whole Chicken (2.5kg)
Veg or Olive Oil
2 tbs Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Ginger Powder
1 tbsp Rosemary
1 tbsp Dried Thyme
2 tbs Onion Powder
2 tbsp Chicken seasoning
Or 2 Stock cubes (I used Knorr Chicken Bouillon cubes)
Salt to taste

Made this for dinner tonight and it was absolutely amazing!! My first time roasting a chicken. Marinated for 3 hours and all flavors came through. Next I will let it sit for 24 hours. After the chicken was done I used the drippings and some broth to make gravy to pour over the chicken and veggies.

That is a great tip..marinating for hours and the stuffing is justified..you are a star. This chicken will be so tasty with the veggies all top notch.

I made this chicken today. It came out DELICIOUS. My whole family loved it. I cooked it on a little rack too. The only difference is I marinated my chicken in mojo overnight. Thank you for this recipe!

This looks incredible. I went to the store and picked up a whole chicken this morning to make for dinner and this will be the recipe I follow. The timing will allow the dry rub to stay on about 6 hours before I start to cook. I’ll let you know how it turned out 🤞**dinners done and it was so tasty**

Just bought a 2.5kg chicken for AUD$4.50 which is a steal at my local Woolies. I like the bbq look of this recipe. The dry rub must be done on Friday then, for Saturday cook and serve on Saturday night. Thanks for sharing!
