Yes. A character who's spirit has went Valhalla can become corporeal again. Normally it would require moving thru several realms...but can be achieved directly by passage thru a gate ( for example... Odin's doorway from his (main) palace to his dining hall (of heroes) is a direct portal into Valhalla dimension from Asgardian home dimension. i think if they showed us some gods in the beginning to establish their power levels. so when we see their bodies it would make Gorr feel more like a threat and reveal Gorr's prayers to the gods went un answered later in the movie would have been better
Gorr literally saved this movie…
Without Bale this would flop 🙄
My thoughts exactly. 10 minutes of Gorr kicking ass would have really benefitted this movie and set the threat level
I also think they overdid the comedy in this. Especially in scenes where there shouldn't have been comedy, some areas felt forced.
well I guess we had about 4 entire standalone movies and a series before this establishing the power level of gods.
(Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Loki, Gaurdians of the Galaxy: Vol 2)

4:17 Hercules comes Roman mythology and Heracles comes from Greek mythology. In the comics Heracles renamed himself Hercules. Also many "Greek" Gods in the Roman pantheon are just Etruscan Gods that were absorbed with the conquest of Rome on the Etruscan people. I think realms are part of a universe, because different iterations of death people in walhalla together wouldn't make sense for example. So if you have an alternate universe, you also have an alternate realms connected to that universe.
Realms are part of the universe but think of them being attached by a small passage way and shielded by a barrier that makes traveling to them only possible through the passage way. In marvel comics, you have the multiverse in one giant bag, then in another bag you have the crimson cosmos, and so forth. Outside of that is like the beyonders
They called it the shadow realm but they were able to travel to it. Makes it seems like what he considers realms are dimensions and realms are just areas. Like a planet can be in a realm. The realm is like a small version of a galaxy. Has its own properties
