I already Love Rugby.. now I Love Rugby, its a wonderful relationship.
It’s been 20 years but I’m ready to get back at it. Undeafeated state champs and 7th in the US. Most memorable moments in my life. I mean, who would forget seeing tm8 getting a 4”gash in his skull where you could lift it up like the corner of a carpet, no med kits around (don’t know why; it IS RUGBY after all), but one of the moms had a “monthly pad”. We wrapped him up, scrum cap on and back into the war we go.
Best part of rugby fam is we phuck each other up on the field and go have beers and a laugh together after…
So, we all win!!
Depends on the level you compete at I guess. Lower grade club rugby is similar as is masters in that people have a beer afterwards in Australia. But above that no chance two teams will hang out after the game, particularly at elite club level and Colts. I played 2nd grade Colts (U19) for a big club and it was brutal and dirty at that level. The club had teams from Masters down to kids and a the First Grade team which has breed future pros for years. Something for everyone. I'd love to go and play in Fifth Grade or Masters one day but I don't miss the injuries.

The body types in the NFL are specific for the types of plays and rules, you couldn't have those giant linemen and the such in Rugby because they're too slow. In Rugby everyone needs to be big but not too big to be fast, putting NFL players on that field would lead to some amazing injuries but a very chaotic and one sided match that the NFL players would lose.
That actually depends on what NFL position gets picked. In my opinion a team of NFL running backs would dominate. Their speed, agility, and strength along with trained ball security and being accustomed to getting hit by 275 lb+ lineman and 230lb+ LBs would make them killer offensively.
And the NFL fines players for shaking a finger at the other team or suspend players for tackling
