Really enjoy a good honest video on why folk do CZcams channels. I upload some and don't others I record. But I agree that some you feel will get loads of views doesn't work out that way. I'm uploading less but still enjoying the journey. Respect to you getting one out each week.

That’s what it’s all about, getting out and enjoying it, I go with my brother and one of my mates most of the times and we have good craic and no harm done. good job m8 , channel going well 👌. Have you thought about doing the west highland way ? We are thinking early may or september next year . Haven’t quite decided yet , have to get the miles in and get the feet toughened up 😂
Hi Dave, I would love to do the WHW at some stage of some sort of thru hike. I’ve watched a lot of videos on it, if you have days to play with you can stretch it out over a week which i think I’d prefer to do, no point in rushing something like that. @@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors have 2 videos on edit , just back from hols as well so nothing planned for a bit . Yeah we are gonna do the whw over 7 days . Still a lot of walking though 😂😂
@@daveandemmaoutdoors3171 definitely a lot of walking but I’m sure your like ourselves, work out a good plan and have a plan B as well. The good thing about it is that it seems that you don’t have to bring much food or water so the pack should be lighter. Hope you had a good holiday. Good stuff about the two videos 👍
New subscriber. Keep doing what you do and enjoy it. What will be will be,it’s hard not to start focusing on the stats 😅. I just enjoy making videos, more so over the last year or so when messing about in the outdoors. But my best video to date is when I fixed a pressure washer 😂. Cheers.

@@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors the Helm one is a cracking wee tent - ticks all the boxes for me. Might try get out on Tuesday night, but back for work on Wednesday AM.
@@cowalexplorer happy days, always good to get out. Yea the helm one is brilliant, I had a lanshan and wasn’t overly fussed on it so changed it for the helm one. Been out in it twice and it’s perfect 👍

Hi, the way CZcams works is a bit of a mystery to me. I've found that the more work I put into the video the less views I get! Rough and ready is more real perhaps. The rhythm of one video a week is a great thing. I don't do social media but that seems to work great for some. I also think getting a more international audience will help greatly and plenty of variety. Keep the fans hungry for more!! Regards, Ashley
Hi Ashley. CZcams definitely intrigues me, the way im thinking is maybe the subscribers I have are local based and maybe interested in the Mournes which leads me to think should I cut back to doing just local Mournes or push further afield and like you say attract international subscribers, it does have me thinking a lot. The weekly videos do help build a base of returning viewers. I’m not a fan of social media I just really use it for the channel but then should I push it more? Like I say it intrigues me a lot 😂, maybe too much. Thank you for your thoughts and comments 👍
Variety is the spice of life!! Just keep at it and it'll grow. I've a few hiking friends in the Lake District with good channels who regularly put up content but they get viewers from all over the world - the best channels are very professional, too professional really but they do competitions and teaser videos to build footfall.
@@ashleyjarnold yea I think I’ll keep changing it up and try and keep it fresh. I watch a group of fellas who make great videos in the Peak District and they went and done a great two part series in Norway and I don’t think it took at all, I thought that was strange. I could maybe try a give away as well. Thank you again for the comment Ashley 👍
