you need to add to your story that Rashad was black balled not because the locker room didn't like him, but because he exposed the UNC scandal. He named Roy Williams and specific players that underwent illegal recruiting and academic programs; such as never attending a class and receiving an A. The league and big NCAA connections then led an effort to disparage his attitude character.

McCants nearly ruined the great UNC squad he was on in college. Somehow, the coaches did get him to be a team player for his junior year and UNC won the title in 05. But I guess he went back to his old ways immediately after winning the championship.
So I have a great Rashad Mccants story. So UNC won the 05-06 national championship game and i was blessed to go to the event in Illinois. Well the next day we pull up to our gate to leave for home when low and behold the UNC team walks up and they asked people if they could give up there seats and take the next flight so they could get back to chapel thrill and air tran gave perks obviously. Being die hard tarheels my family and I were happy to give up our seats. So while waiting to board I took the chance to go meet and get autographs from my heros like sean may and raymond felton and my favorite player was Mccants(I had his 32 jersey on as well) so i get everythings john handcock when i come up to Mccants sitting there with his headphones on, me being a star struck 11 year old i started trying to converse with him and asked him for his autograph...after a few "Mr Mccants sir, may i have your autograph", he takes his hat off from covering his eyes and looks at me and goes what the fuck do you want, then grabbed my hat and scribbled all over it and told me dont ever fuck with him again(Im using F bombs due to him really cussing me out) so i left that day hating his guts with a hat that had the teams signatures minus rashad because he literally scribbled back and forth lines which messed up other autographs...so long story short, this guy was a really rude selfish dude
