@@LogicalReasons In 92 - 93 they hadn't reached their primes yet. And 98 Sonics were just good that year until Baker choked in 2nd round playoffs against Lakers, and then I think he started drinking.

if it makes 1999 rockets feel better, they did beat a 5 all-star Lakers in 1996 first round.... And then the 1997 Lakers fielded another 5 all-star team, and still lost in the 2nd round...

@@shauncameron8390 Payton was. The 40 year old Malone was still playing great. He did a fantastic job guarding Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. The Lakers badly needed him to guard Rasheed. If he hadn't gotten injured they would have beaten the Pistons.

Super Teams don't work that well when you form them. They work the best by building from drafting and adding other super stars to fill roles. AKA GSW, BULLS, 80S Lakers/Celtics. To me Curry is like Magic, Klay is like James Worthy and Kareem is like Durant.

Benny Ubub horford and Hayward are max players that just were all stars. Tatum has the potential to be a superstar. Jalen Brown can be an all star no problem. Marcus smart is an all defense caliber player
Caelen OW i still don’t think it is a super team though, because Tatum and Smart are not more established yet. Hayward is not the same player he was when he left Utah. Horford is solid, but he isn’t gonna be called a potential superstar player by himself the same way Kyrie is.
Caelen OW they are a great team, and what many of us thought of as a potential finals making team but you don’t need superteams to make the finals and win the finals
