When I played P3P for the first time I felt my heart go into my gut when I saw him the first time, thanks to that trauma I ended up being weaker in my first 4G run because every time I heard chains I bolt out of the dungeon floors…until I found out about the chest ordeal…and then raged screamed for the whole day.
Sad thing is you can't keep in NG+ the goods he gives you every time you beat him. That and the fact you can't keep your fully tunned Izanagi-no-Okami either makes me so lazy...
Doesn't it beat the point of a showcase in very hard to beat the thing after you got all his drops like the godly robe? I mean: wouldn't it be more interesting showing an actual challenge? Still fun to watch, but lacks that Oompf of being in the edge.

Lol, is it weird that I think God Hand has a cooler animation in P4 than P5? In P4, it looks like a giant fist of light descending slowly to smite your foes... in P5, it's just a rocket punch.
i never use teddie lol kanji is only good for hollow forest since he has more powerful physical attacks than magical and it cuts your sp in half constantly but teddie is kind of useless
and then few years later after the game's release, persona 5 royal come released and makes the reaper became a big ass joke as long as you pay the extra 6$ for Izanagi no okami
my first time using izanagi no okami on the reaper took 16 attacks and 2 rounds of fully healing with only joker on safe mode. now i can straight up 1 shot it without breaking a sweat. izanagi no okami is the definition of OP
It's a tactically sound decision to maximize the amount of damage you can do since if you Debilitate first turn and Power Charge in the next, your wasting one turn of boosted damage
If he Debilitated the first turn, the effect woulda worn off because of the Reaper's extra turns. (And the Reaper moving twice acts like a completely different move, making the debuff timer more like one and a half turns)
This guy: Run up and get done up reaper Also you could consider this as a “no damage attempt” as in no one in the party took damage from the reaper unless you want to be a stick in the mud about physical damage skills taking away HP

Yoshitune with Hassou Tobi, Power Charge, Ma- buffs.. and bring at least Yukiko with Salvation.. and easy game all the way.. only drawbacks are hama/mudo with their chances.. 😶 Want a real challenge? Use Izanagi or any early game persona..
I only played P3 and was bored out of my mind. It's a soulless game, apart from a few catchy tunes. Combat is braindead rock-paper-scissor exploiting weaknesses. Dungeons are boring and repetetive, and most random treasure chests are not worth the effort of going to. Story is forgettable. Visual novel parts are weak compared to actual visual novels. JP Voice acting is mid to low as well. Persona is shit-tier shallow game for dumb masses.

Try beating Reaper when your level 50 or lower, level 60 max and see how easy it is on Very Hard.
