Persona 4 Golden - Margaret Boss Fight (Min-maxed, Very Hard)

- After defeating Margaret from my old save about 2 weeks ago, I decided to replay P4G (the whole thing, good times, I missed this game so much). I did a movie-only run for this playthrough and have officially min-maxed everything out of P4G, max stats Persona builds and fully upgraded all of the party members' stats (limited to the stat upgrades that the movies provided of course).
And here we are, visiting Margaret once more however I completely got everything under control this time. By using Yosuke over Yukiko due to him having max strength and close to max magic, as well as his ability to wield good physical and magic skills which allows him to fully utilize Rise's AOE Power/Mind Charges. And speaking of Rise, I completely read her AI patterns like a book that made this run even smoother than the previous. Putting Chie on AOE Heat Riser and crit rate buffs duty also helps to make Rise always cast Charges over any other buffs which makes the whole party deal more damage overall and crit more often, especially Kanji. And finally we have Yu wrecking havoc with spicy Hassou Tobis.
I've put the previous Margaret video into unlisted since this version of the run is objectively better and more optimized.

In case if you're wondering about my builds and what equipment I used for the party, check out the 'Party Builds' section. More detailed party equipment:
Yu - Blade of Totsuka, Godly Robe (+10 all stats), Barbaric Bracers (Ali Dance)
Yosuke - Hattori (+3 all stats), Godly Robe (+10 all stats), God's Love (+10 all stats)
Chie - Stella Greaves (+5 Strength), Godly Robe (+10 all stats), Chakra Ring (Spell Master)
Kanji - Perun Plate (Elec Boost), Godly Robe (+10 all stats), Omega Drive (Apt Pupil)

I don't know what would be the best team comp for that, it's tough to choose between Yosuke, Yukiko, Teddie, and Ice Build Naoto. My best guess would probably be using Yu and Yukiko as the main damage dealers, Teddie as debuffer (but this means no Debilitate and the party will be vulnerable to the boss's Megidolaon) and Chie for the AOE Heat Riser spam. Oh well.
@@Zrego You can still use Debilitate I never said anything about not using it xP
So yeah it would be complicated. Something to take in consideration are the break skills in case you want to make sure you'll be dealing some good damage
@@marioagainsttheworld6248 Yeah it's very possible to do with Yu/Chie/Yukiko/Teddie. I ended up utilizing Chie's Bufudyne from the bike trips with an Ice Amp accessory. Yukiko overall dealt the most damage since I didn't bother to fuse personas with severe magic on Yu. Yosuke may or may not be better than Teddie because he's the second tankiest member in the group but he doesn't have Marakunda, so ehhh. Sorry to disappoint, but the fight ended up taking about 27-30 mins and I don't think I will upload a long ass video heh, especially when P4G Margaret is one of the least interesting Persona superbosses.

@@marioagainsttheworld6248 I have since I'm quite active in the Persona modding discord, however I won't replay P3 to keep my P3Reload experience as fresh as possible in the future.

I would not have considered Yosuke over Yukiko as my first thought, but considering they would both be stuck on healing duty half of the time anyway, being able to double dip on Rise's team charge is a pretty great plus.

Just wanna ask do you have any tips for this game? I finished persona 5 and persona 3 reload on merciless difficulty but does this game still hold up/is it actually hard? my zoomer brain cant handle old jrpgs tbh
Do an Izanagi only playthrough until you can unlock Yoshitsune and abuse shuffle time with Izanagi. Very Hard difficulty in this game is not really hard but is very grindy (lower EXP/money gain), which many people may not like.
@@Zrego Dude this game KICKED MY ASS on very hard Yukikos dungeon is an actual pain i had to turn the difficulty down
@@gioisnotreal Very Hard's early game sucks ass, it's really grindy.
Personally I don't find the gameplay as entertaining as the recent Atlus games, so I always tell people to play it on normal or easy so they can enjoy the story more

Bike trip 5 times. Generally it's not worth it, I did it anyway because this is NG+.
