This caller is completely spot on. Footballers shouldn't get starts in games based on who they are alone. Salah has been woeful since AFCON and shouldn't get starts ahead of others simply through his name. What's the point in starting out of form players? We need clinical players on the field who can create and score goals.

It's this sort of mentality that has prevented the England national team from winning a trophy for 70 years. They essentially said, he's your best player so you have to play him no matter what. The main man syndrome. You can stick with players, sure, but you also play players based on form. Salah has been average since he got injured at AFCON and he's 100% off next season.
You can tell how bad these two were as players because they're advocating for players publicly throwing their toys out the pram because of "passion." Do you think he'd be at the club next week if Pep was in charge? Ridiculous opinions.

Klopp has been seeing these players for 6-8 weeks now miss chance after chance in his last season so he is right to be frustrated. Even if he snapped at Salah who is a senior player and should have led the scoring, there is no excuse for Salah to embarrass the club in public.

This fan is spot on, you don't win games by name alone, the best team was on the pitch and there was nothing on the bench that would improve that, the bench was full of out of form and comeback from injury players. Agbonlahor has no idea, same when he was playing, a has been who thought he was better than what he was, 12 mins was plenty of time, watch what he actually did, he wasn't doing anything off the ball as highlighted on MOTD, any issues you do it behind the scenes , end of.

I am with the caller. If you have an issue with your boss (the coach in this instance), you settle it behind closed doors so it does not undermine the coach's authority. Salah should know better. Fellow Egyptian Mido used to be the star of the national team, but he was pulled out by Coach Shehata in the first game of the 2006 AFCON and Mido confronted the coach with the whole nation watching and the country's president in the stadium watching. The substitute ended up scoring the winning goal and it was all downhill at club and country for Mido.

Hello Gabby, if you want to know who's bigger, Klopp or Salah. You should see when Liverpool visit Singapore during the pre-season friendly. Klopp is a MEGA SUPER STAR here, and not Salah. And i tell you why, we have many superstars before, Torres, Suarez but none of them win the league so when Klopp comes along and wins us all the possible trophies, we are obviously very grateful to him. Klopp made a lot of our players superstars, whether its Alisson, VVD, Andy Robertson, Sadio Mane. These are all good players at their old clubs but none are superstars. In Liverpool, nobody is bigger than the club. Salah had enough opportunities where he started both Crystal Palace and Everton matches and played the full 90 minutes and yet we lost both matches with zero goals scored. And after all these matches, you mean the manager whether Klopp or others do not have the right to bench him and let other players have the opportunity to impress? Klopp had done enough for Salah, turning him from a good player into a superstar and opting to offload Mane whom Salah is competing with as the main player, being both African. and choose to reward Salah with fantastic contract renewals instead. I'm sure if Klopp had offer the same contract terms to Mane, he would have stayed. .And this is how Salah repays him, on knowing the boss is leaving soon with just few matches left and choosing to display his frustrations publicly?? If he wants to adopt the same kind of CR7 mentality, whereby he feels he need to start EVERY matches, not based on performances, than he is welcome to join CR7 at the Saudi league. Liverpool doesnt need him here.. Klopp will have a statue in Anfield after he left but i cant say the same about Salah. I agree with the caller 100%. In Klopp We Trust. YNWA
