Iâll say it again; any United fan who thinks we will win this is delusional in my opinion. This is the farthest the gap has ever been between us(in terms of them being better), the circumstances surrounding how weâve lost games and how they have feared is not in our favor in any way. Newcastle arguably have their entire 1st choice back five out injured right now too (I'm including the keeper in the 5). Trippier, Schar, Botman and Pope are definitely part of the 1st choice defence and are out of action (Pope just returned to the bench for the last game). and the left back position is debateable. We've been playing our 3rd choice right back as a centre back for the last few games because even our back up defender of Lascelles is out for the season.
Willock and Barnes have missed 80% of the season. Joelinton has missed months. It's been very rare when 1 of Isak and Wilson hasn't been injured. Pope has missed half the season. Tonali has been suspended all season. Loads of others have missed weeks or months of the season too.
Pretty much the only Newcastle players that have been fit for over 90% of the games this season are Schar, Gordon and Guimaraes.

Itâs about a personal pride and even if Arsenal didnât lose theyâre not beating City to the title anyway, which is similar to his point about not wanting United to get Conference League - whether they win against Arsenal on Sunday or not, Newcastle and Chelsea will still finish above them in European spots.

So the reason Man Utd are shocking this season is because the injuries at the back which I donât agree with but letâs use that as an excuse. After two years they still do not have a style of play and are the easiest so called big team to play against in the league, they have pretty much the same forward players week in week out and the midfield with Bruno at the top of it is usually the same yet they still donât create enough of score enough goals. Every team above them have scored more goals than them (52) by a distance, the closest being Spurs (69), whilst West Ham have scored more, Brighton also and Bournemouth and Brentford have the same. Even Luton and Palace have scored just 3 less. Remember this is a United team that only played 6 games in Europe but they still use that as an excuse that it affected their season. Just accept with this manger and these players 8th to 10th is where they are, the table doesnât lie.

Ali missed 25+ games, Trent missed a load, Matip has been out all season, Konate has been out quite a bit, Robbo and Tsimikas were both out for months at the same time, we were missing Jones, Szoboslai, Salah, Jota, Nunez all to injury, we lost Endo to the Asia Cup and until a few weeks back we were pushing for 4 trophies

Yes this matters currently but he was doing it over a season, in January Liverpool had 12+ injuries as well but won most of their games (ironically they've been worse since players came back from injury). Newcastle had a point at the start of the season when their full starting 11 plus more were out. I think it's a prem as a whole problem that most teams have been in an injury crisis this season.

Andy frankly doesn't pay attention, nearly Chelsea's entire 1st choice defense has been out all year. James, Fofana, Chilwell, Colwill, Lavia, Nkunku, Chukuemeka, Chalobah, and Ugochukwu have all missed a significant portion of the season. Nkunku, James, Fofana, Lavia, and Chilwell have all missed nearly the entire season and would start or play every single game if fit. Not an excuse, we are poor, but to laugh our injuries away as not 1st team players is silly.
