We are back with another Challenge Accepted, and we have a challenge for our three challengers! Can they beat the CPU without buying any stars? They can only get stars by stealing and by bonuses! This is the final challenge accepted and we're finishing this series with Mario Party!

@@davidnguyen8040 AH = Achievement Hunter. This is their last Let’s Play. Majority of the cast has moved on save for Michael, Trevor, Joe, and Alfredo. They thought it was time to end Achievement Hunter and start their own group called DogBark

Have they announced what’s happening to Challenge Accepted in the mix-up? This and the Matt-Michael randomizers are the vids I most often watch on LetsPlay
The only thing announced is F**kFace is taking over Let's Play, so all or some combination of Geoff, Gavin and Andrew will be doing videos on Fridays on the channel and Monday videos for FIRST on the site. Though Geoff can decide to change schedule whenever. Nothing about other days/videos involving others.
Iirc they said someone would be taking over the Let's Play channel while AH was shutting down. They haven't really done any more news on what's happening to Let's Play

I have to say that the BOWSER's Big Blast game can go on for ages. On the remake version of this stage. Me and a CPU went on for like 15 minutes before they picked the wrong one finally.

9:00 I was curious so I looked it up. Speedrunners (of course) figured out stats and mechanics to this game: Each racer (before you pick them) has one of 3 animations, indicating if they're in their fast, medium or slow modes for the race. Then there's the stats: Always pick Boo, because he has the best winrates - only his slow mode has a lower winrate than others (Whomp and Bob-omb in their fast modes) and never pick Thwomp (his 3 modes have the 3 lowest winrates).
2nd best is Whomp, 3rd is Bob-omb.
Note: Fast Boo has a 46% winrate, so it's still not sure-fire. But it's obviously the best choice.
P.S: Based on the text descriptions I saw, seems like this round had fast Boo, fast Whomp, medium Bob-omb and medium Thwomp.

When I saw Lindsay's lucky streak in the beginning I thought this challenge was gonna be a cakewalk,

The funny thing is, they really could have beat the bot, if only they had pressed A enough.

I was only introduced to AH in about 2018 and it was a very dark time of my life. AH gave me so much joy and was something to look forward to and to get through really hard times. Thank you Achievement Hunter for all the entertainment and comfort you gave me ❤

I am convinced the game fucked with the odds when it saw them not getting stars to do more things to take it easy on them like the extra hidden block or the lucky bowser rolls. There's just.... I can't believe they got two star blocks and 2 bowser run away's in the same game without something like that.
That was an amazing final minigame.
And the 3 to 2 Happening Spaces was the Cherry on top.

it's obvious that people are still interested in this channel, just not the direction it's going. whenever there are videos with the older crew, the views are way up and the reaction is positive. i will forever miss the big crew of jeremy, matt, fiona, trevor, fredo, gavin, michael, jack, lindsey, geoff. the dynamics were perfect and everyone had their own *role* in the group. videos like these give me that old vibe back

@@PolarBearTC Yeah, but Challenge Accepted is an AH show. Matt himself has said there are no current plans to do more Randos or Challenge Accepted and that he doesn't know if he will be recording anything else under the Let's Play or DogBark brands, but he is open to it.
As for randos, tho, Matt did say that he and Michael were considering doing them together on their private Twitch channels.
Fun fact, though, Matt's trying to buy the gong from RT for his stream if it's not going to be used anymore, lol.
