Gav knowing that Qi is a word but not trying Qi and Si on a triple letter score to close out the game at like 50 mins was killing me
in fairness, even if you see the layout, i wouldn't have guessed that Si is a valid word. and i'm a music teacher lmao

god the pivot this channel took has been amazing. I stopped watching RT/AH mid to late 2020 when they added a bunch of people all trying to be streamers and content machines all competing to be the loudest or looking for the funniest bit to do, and would occasionally watch a Play Pals.
but the FF podcast crew taking over this channel was the revival it needed. The chemistry is great. It actually seems like everyone is having a truly good time. And we still get that connection of Geoff and Gavin who were pretty main talents in the golden RT era. Everyday I stray closer to actually listening to the FF podcast, but I haven't yet. (I don't really listen to podcasts) but one of these days they'll probably get me.
I wish I could listen to it again for the first time. You'll have a blast whenever you do decide to listen.
It's almost over so enjoy it while it lasts.

As a Scrabble player, how are you not in pain watching this? Geoff missing resigned at very start, 7:39 Gavin playing pane on double letter instead of double word (or playing penny for a lot more), 8:07 Geoff knowing fleer is word but not playing it with flier or filter to triple word/double letter on the F in two directions. Game has barely started and I'm trying not to scream at my phone

Gavin had a Qi play sitting right at the end that could've saved his game as well.
And Gavin using the blank to play vanes instead of vans for fewer points 14:09, Geoff not playing veer on the triple right after. I think Geoff was just taking pity on Gavin at that point because it was obvious Gavin has no idea of the basics of how the game works
I’ve been staring at the possibility of the word “low” for the last 20 minutes and when Gavin passed directly over it @ 1:13:32 it nearly made me have a psychotic breakdown.

Gavin also had the options of "Low" or "Law" using the L and W already on the board.
He could have done "Duo" instead of do. Wouldn't have helped, but he did leave some more obvious points on the board

Is quo a word in regular scrabble? Because it sure ain't in their app.

before he did the word "vanes" (13:17), gavin had a chance to spell vagina (with a bonus no), using the blank tile for the g, and the I and A from resign and thane.
If this goes up on IMDB, and its ratings are perfect, then Warner Brothers just got rid of the studio that made one of their most critically acclaimed movies, that was rated better than any of their DC stuff, just putting that out there
As a long-time RT fan, this was exactly what I wanted from a final showdown between Geoff and Gavin. Gavin overlooking "wacky" only to play "pudgy", proving he's not a moron and gaining an early lead. And Geoff coming from behind to prove once and for all that he's the book-smartest player at RT.

I used to play scrabble a ton, and memorized some of the 2 letter words. At about @54:30, Geoff could slap Ax, Ox, and Mo all in there with the X on a triple letter score twice. That'd be like 50 something points
Watching Geoff put “Sin” instead of “Vision” in the same spot is hard to watch
