Those in the media who in the police investigation and led to Leslie's murder should be prosecuted. Legislation should be drafted to hold these journalists like Mr Wright responsible.

She was an openly gay police officer in a police force which was dominated by straight men. Kudos to her. "Malton's police career, initially in the Leicestershire and then the Metropolitan Police Service, was notable for her rise within the ranks of a very male, heterosexual establishment while being a woman detective who was openly gay. Malton worked in a number of areas, including the Flying Squad, Murder Squad and Fraud Squad. She also acted as a whistle-blower against police corruption in the 1980s".

On the tape recording, Leslie says she's ok, she was wet but she's dry now. Surely that was a clue the police should've picked up on, wet could refer to where she was being kept, underground in drain tunnels.

Idiotic for the journalists to report this kidnapping, endangering Leslie…. All for what, the best headline, the first to publish?? Self absorbed and uncaring. I completely agree that those reporters should have been prosecuted, along with all involved with the publication. Add civil suits for some recompense. Reporters are leeches and nowadays, many flat out lie . Freedom of speech, 100% believe but one must show discernment. Poor Leslie.

All awful. Also, i could never drive in GB... in addition to the distressing content, watching them drive has me constantly on edge since (to me) it looks like someone's on the wrong side and theyre about to crash... also... how do they do the switcheroo when driving from a left drive to a right drive country??? Somewhere in the middle of the tunnel, they all just yell "switch" and veer off????? 😂(What other borders are there where drivers have to switch sides? Hmmm... Mystery... )

51:47 those are an INFANT’S cries. Jasmine was four years old at the time of her terrible, tragic murder - she would have been quite verbal and practically ready for admittance to kindergarten. Pedantic yes, but the editors are superficially trying to play up the horror factor by implying Jasmine was a helpless baby in swaddling clothes, when it is actually MORE horrifying that she would have been able to talk to Napper, however childlike it would have been. She would have been able to plead for her mother, which only adds to Napper’s vileness.
    Shame on this editorial callousness.
