In this case his mom were diagnosed with a serious mental illness so I guesstimate she might have been absent even if physically present. The ambivalence about his father perhaps is that he tried to parenting in good faith but fell short, surely it was an issue of stress that the wife/mother was mentally ill.
The mental gymnastics necessary to think that gender reassignment surgery is going to make you not guilty of crimes you committed is unbelievable!

He was wise, he pretend to accept his request and asked a company card, with his name he searched true finder, found records online, etc. The PUBLIC LAYERS DEFEND HIM AND WIN 33 TIMES. My friend went to police and tried to get protection, then he went to public defenders to open a sue against the criminals but he could not because THE TAX PAYERS MONEY GO TO DEFEND CRIMINALS, NOT TO DEFEND THE VICTIMS OF THOSE CRIMINALS.

Poor Shaun Cummings. As a former caregiver myself, hearing of a carer going down such a horrible dark path is really really disgusting.
On 9/11/2020 I had the absolutely horrendous and heartbreaking experience of discovering my best friend deceased in her apartment when I arrived to take her to her scheduled doctor's appointment.
It was a devastating experience I'd not wish on my worst enemy.
It was absolutely disgusting watching the reactions of her family.
She lived with her elderly parents, mom had died 2 years prior. Dad was in the hospital recovering from an unfortunate spinal injury. Covid was in full swing, and his cognitive abilities were drastically slipping. So he was in hospital at the time of her unexpected passing.
She had not been doing well and was adjusting to life as a new amputee. She lost her left leg on New Years Day 2020 after an undiagnosed blood clot in her leg resulted in her leg dying. She had been a gymnast for the majority of her life so she was mentally battling with adjusting to life as an amputee.
Though this was INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT FOR HER, she was surprisingly quite good at her adaptations for physical mobility. I was actually REALLY proud of her. But mentally she was letting it defeat her. It was very sad, and I tried racking my brain for creative ways to help her view her life as a survivor vs a victim. This was proving quite difficult however.
She was technically an adoptee. She was adopted at 3 days old. Her brothers and aunt should have loved her like blood family.
We waited 5 hours for the funeral home to pick up her body! During this time I saw her family's true colors.
When the funeral home moved her body I had to leave the room just hearing the movement broke me down to sobs.
During this time, instead of the family taking time to say good bye to her, hug her, or kiss her, they were trying to break in to her fathers safe!!!😢 (Jokes on them I already knew there wasn't anything they wouldve wanted out of there.)
They thought I might know the combination, I did not. But I had seen my friend access it in the months before.
Either way watching them try and break in to it was so sickening and heartbreaking.
I had been given express permission to drive her fathers jeep to take her to her appointments and shopping etc. They let me use it in between shifts even. I was really the only person driving it.
About a week after her passing I had to return it to the family.
What sucked was knowing they simply wanted it to sell it, when I was genuinely using it. Though it wasn't mine, so I was fine with returning it. Just sad at their reasons behind wanting it.
The entire situation was heartbreaking and devastating. I would learn 5 months later her father passed away too.
All this was too much for me. After losing my best friend and my job on the same day- I decided to throw in the towel on my caregiver job.
I took a little time off before going back to my old gig, retail.
I just can't imagine doing anything like this scumbag did when he should've been caring for Shaun!
Love and healing to Shaun's family, friends, and loved ones. Rest in peace Shaun.❤❤❤

I was tortured and abused psychically, sexually and psychologically between the ages of 7-10 by my teenage step brother... There's no physical proof and the only other person that could confess to what I went through died 5 years ago... So, other than my word and possibly a deep dive with a psychologist, there is no evidence I could present anyone for what happened to me.

Also, I looked up suicide rates, which I would think would mirror the serial killer rate if it was linked to negative emotions (my opinion only) and interestingly the only one in the top 10 was Alaska. Oregon was 15, Washington 26 and California was way down the list.
I'm originally from Washington and was originally curious why it seems like so many major serial killers seem to be there. By major I mean those killing many and end up on the news. I was actually surprised that Washington wasn't #1.

Why didn't the caregiver for the boxing guy ever ask him to be paid? Seems like they could have cleared that up with a simple conversation: "I'd like to be paid, please. No? Okay, I'm not caring for you anymore.". Seems like maybe the boxer just thought he was doing it for the friendship, or out of the goodness of his heart. Sean Cummings sounds like a difficult person to deal with. Just having to put up with an inflated ego is hard enough, but feeling unappreciated and lied to create the monster Thomas Dunkley became and his state of mind had to be that of a man who felt he had used, abused, and cheated out of a life. I figure he was pretty unstable before all of this.
It couldn't have been easy as Sean's muscle mass turned to fat making his care more difficult. I don't think Dunkley went into this situation with murder on his mind. I think he simmered for two years until he boiled over. The end result ... Sean's death was horribly brutal and undeserved. Thomas's decision to steal from Sean and ultimately take his life ruined Thomas's own life and if there is any remorse, a lifetime of nightmares!

Been clean for some years now and like to catch a little refer buzz every once in a while. I am aware of the proliferation of Fentynal in so many street drugs and its power to kill. I began using heroin before the Fentynal was being cut in. I used when there really wasn't any more real dope and it was all Fentynal. I ODed the most at that time and was lucky to not be alone and with someone who cared about me AND had Narcon. Otherwise, I wouldn't be telling you this. My uncle supposedly committed Suicide off that Bridge. The main reason i don't believe that &HE did! Was because he was a RetiredSenior Master Sargeant of the AIR FORCES, served 27 years , Elder at the Lutheran church, and after retiring, he went back to school and got a Degree in fixing and keeping track of the scales for Truckers. He was very kind and loved by many. The Sheriff said it was Suicide because, in his past time he enjoyed taking pictures. They found his clothes, wallet, and jewelry. The sheriff was admit about his determination. I found it odd that if he was so depressed, how did he stay in the military so long, elder of the church, and always busy. His wife was not a Great person, I personally didn't care for her. She accepted the sheriff dision and moved on with all his life insurance and military. I did go and talk to a person at the mil.they said NO I HE WOULD NEVER LAST IN THE MI)ATARY WITHOUT SHOWING SIGNS.HE WAS F[UND IN THE RIVER THERE IN 1985.WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Thanks to all the detectives, medical examiners, and other professionals in Washington who kept working at this case for DECADES, until finally solving these devastating murders. These women deserved justice, I hope they are resting peacefully knowing their murders have been solved.
I pray for peace and positivity in the lives of the victims loved ones, family, and friends.
I have lived in Everett, Washington since summer 1994. I've known of so many horrendous tragidies in the true crime cases in this area and hearing of any solved after all this time it's a breath of fresh air, a relief that gives hope for others.
I wish that the case of Kurt Cobain was taken this seriously. That original investigation was SO BOTCHED. There also was an insane amount of inappropriate work, ie friends of Courtney's doing autopsies, or other involvement in the investigation of Kurt's death that are completely inappropriate.
There are also strange incidents like the friend of Courtney's who performed Kurt's autopsy dying in mysterious & tragic ways.
There's also documented bodily injuries that make no sense for someone blasted on heroin and "suicidal".
Plus the amount of heroin he did would've killed him alone, as a former heroin user myself, I don't understand how someone can do what he is supposed to have done without ODing first.
There are way too many red flags and mistakes in the "investigation" (so called) into his death. The case 100% needs to be re-opened, and at the LEAST filed as UNSOLVED/COLD CASE.
Someone *cough cough* got away with murder on the biggest rockstar of the 90s, and got it labeled as "suicide."
His daughter deserves to see her fathers case re-opened, properly investigated, and GOD WILLING, solved!
Kurt deserves justice.

There was a case back in the early 90's in Eugene, Oregon at a Dari Mart 2 workers was brutality left for dead,1 passed an one who was left in the freezer,survived do to the blood slowing down an she survived but was brutally hurt.so what eventually came to unravel was there was scratch offs stolen,so the detective had the numbers do to them written down in the records every nite at the end of each shift.(I worked for Dari Mart knowing this as well). This detective was seriously stumped not finding a male name on records of winners.an one night ,he jumps up out of bed realizing the names turned in for the winners,had been switched to the letters of a woman.he switched letters around an found the name of the guy who was homeless living in the Bushes not far from the Dari Mart.his name was in the system.amazing detective to think of that..the daybefore this crazy nuts actions me an my kids had stopped there for treats as we were headed home.my boyfriend told me about what happened the evening he came home an was gonna stop there an found out what had happened.crazy drug users.mind gone.poor ladys.😢but thank God for The detectives work 🎉❤.🎉

Why didn't they take his DNA sooner?
I think they had it but DNA wasn’t easily identified in the 80s but the sample was saved.
The national database didn’t exist. Criminals have to be convicted felons before DNA can be lawfully obtained. Sometimes if law-enforcement has DNA or even generational DNA they put the suspect under surveillance and watch until they discard a paper plate, a cup, or a cigarette, etc. Anything discarded, even trash, isn’t considered to belong to the one who threw it away. If they find a DNA match LE can proceed.
They only take DNA for felony's and apparently he had only misdemeanors until 22 years later when he/she was arrested for a felony. I believe.
Douglas/Donna was never a suspect for the murders or I’m sure they would have gotten his/her DNA sooner. It wasn’t until they got the DNA match in the system did he/she make it onto law enforcement’s radar.
They addressed that in the documentary.
