Chris I was introduced to metal smithing by one of my Aunts oh how I wish I could’ve known about this when I was younger I’m 61 and I love it I have been purchasing tools and mill press, files I was given a bag of silverware from my other Aunt. I’ve been watching videos on how to make spoon ring and I ran across your videos and watched all of them they are great videos please continue to make more videos I am saving to get a ring bender it takes me a while to get equipment I’m disabled and trying to supplement my income.
I know what you mean. I'm 62 and do this to supplement my income. Let me know when your ready to buy a bender.

Can you share how you made the stuff?
I misspoke about the shank size.Cut your blank at 2 3/4", and it will size out to a size 10 1/2.

It has to be a 1 ton with a 1" sq. shaft.You can buy them at harbor freight.

I would stick with silverplate.Most stainless is hard to bend.

I cut my blanks 2 3/4" and they will size out to about a size 10 1/2. Not sure about 13. Maybe cut at 3""?
