- For Valentines Day I make a ring and bracelet gift made from flatware stainless steel spoons. I don't use any special tools, just the type of tools found inside an average household garage. If you make your own jewelry inspired from this video, please send me a photo of yours and I will post them on our fans website page.

I just started to make spoon jewelry and your video came up I learned a lot from watching your video on how to make jewelry without tools I hope your wife like the bracelet and the ring and still has it today we're in June of 2022
Lucky woman! Not only are you cute but you are a thoughtful husband. I'm sure your wife loved everything you gave her. You have a big heart!
This is so, so sweet! Lots of times it's less about what you give and more about the thought that goes into it. The fact that you chose the patterns, spent all this time creating something beautiful just to make her smile? That's awesome!
FIRST I HAVE TO SAY WITH ALL MY RESPECT TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE. BUT I THINK YOU ARE TOO ADORABLE, HAND MADE GIFTS MADE BY YOUR LOVE . WELL THAT HAS TO BE THE BEST GIFT EVER. CONGRATULATIONS. LOVED THE VIDEO.
Very sweet. I can't think of a better gift than homemade jewelry:)
Thank you so much for putting this up! Really enjoyed this video. Your wife is a lucky lady!
Beautiful and thoughtful gift
Love watching you make this with basic tool. I make jewelry and have been experimenting with vintage stainless steel flatware, myself. It's very fun, rewarding and gives my hands a great workout! Bet your wife loved them!
Great video. I'm a beginner FLATWARE jewelry maker. I will attempt this project. Great job. Bet your wife loved the gift!
I just came across this and I absolutely love it!! I love that you put your time and your thoughts, ideas, inspiration, love into it! I know that if my husband had come across this when he was alive would have made me one...he would have made everyone one. Beautiful!!
Aww all I can say...adorable! What a lucky lady she is! I would just die for a homemade gift like that and the heart of a man like u great job!
You are a sweetheart! Are you from the area of Northeast, N.Y? 'Sounds like a Syracuse accent to me. Your wife must have been very touched by all the love you put into her Valentine's Day gift.
That's brilliant from your heart ❤️👍👍👌
She really does seem to like it. She wears the ring often. I had an idea for a really cool belt. I need to go to the thrift store and find some nice spoons first. Stay tuned for that
Dude - if my man ever made me jewelry I would cherish that shit for the rest of my life❤️❤️❤️
Its looking so great ! Just a suggestion ,The spoon part would look nice with hammered look and her initial on it
An eye opening experience. After struggling with stainless steel myself, I sure appreciate your ingenuity with common tools to make uncommon jewelry. Thanks

You're a Poet and you didn't know it x
I'd love someone to make things for me! I'm the creative one in my family, so it's usually me making the gifts, but I love doing it! Just a tip, if you're bending it all by hand, try using 925 sterling silver spoons, it's softer, so bends easier! I know silver spoons are usually expensive, but you guys in America have thrift stores don't you? So you could probably find some in there, or if not, on ebay! Great video! I liked because the mini-you in the corner made me smile! I wish more guys made their girl presents! :)
I bet she loved it, because YOU made it !
I'll bet she loves them and cherishes them , I would x
Id buy one i use to have 1 when i was younger. It was a gift from my Mom who passed away. Again i would buy one
FYI, on the spoon (round portion) you can drill holes or even use epoxy to glue flowers on or other things and that can become the top of the bracelet.
I know this is an old video, but this is probably the third or fourth time I've seen it, lol. Still not convinced I can make one myself, but I enjoy watching you!
I wish you would have taken video of her reaction to such a cool gift, made from your own hand. Lucky gal! - Thanks for sharing your how-to video. I would LOVE to be able to make things like this. I'm not sure if my hands are strong enough!
Hi :)
Here in my country it was popular among the travelers to make jewlery of silver spoons.
Now the travelers are almost gone, or the old ones, so it not often we see traveler jewlwery anymore :( so it was nice to se this video.
Best regards from Norway :)
I love this tutorial, thank you😊
I have really enjoyed your video, I have wondered how to make both ring and bracelet out of spoons. You have answered a lot of questions, thank you !
Your lady is a lucky person. I would love my husband or son to make one of those for me. The video is great though so thanks for sharing.
I have been playing around for a few years now, and where was this video? I love it..Thank you..hope that lady loved this..romantic or what?
Love LOVE this!! I am going to try, TRY, without a bender. I have 2 pretty heavy duty stainless spoons, I make different jewelry, but I learned so much from you! Work with what ya got! Thank you!
I think every woman should have a husband who makes them jewelry like you. I enjoyed your video.
Waittttttttttttt aww come on you have to show us her reaction . This was the sweetest video I ever saw aww
I was shouting hey don't cut off the spoon part that's the fashion.. Also here in the UK upcycle silverware jewellery is expensive. That bracelet you made would cost between $50 to $100. Well done I bet she was thrilled. B-)
Thank you! Going to give it a try.
wow. I like it! and I like the lighting on the different sets in this video.
Thanks for dropping by.
Very cool how you figured it all out on cam. Thanks for sharing this.
I Love ths Video.. I Looked at the dislikes, as of writing there are 87 dislikes.. Who would dislike this, really!! It truly baffles me?
When in doubt, beat on it! Sage advice!
Enjoyed your video hun ...It was so educational for me...Thank you so much
Great video, very cool and practical jewelry.
Sweet & thoughtful!
Thank you for making this video. You may want to purchase "Cindy's Bender". It will make it much easier to bend. The reason I wanted to watch this video was to see how you hammered the spoon to flatten it and how to use the dremel (what to use) to cut the ring shaft with. Both of which you didn't show (for obvious reasons). Maybe next time you can show how you are going to do it and then cut the camera or sound when you're doing it. Right now, can you tell me what accessory you use to cut?
Very Good! Such A Nice Thing To Do
Very sweet, making my own today.
This is superb!
For the 'boel' of the spoon you should get cute little earrings and attach!!! I think that might be cute!!
Wow! Amazing!
great job,steve.
I love them both. Awesome job! :)
It would look nice to in grave her name where the spoon part is or some kind of saying.. Love how you made this bracelet..
Really nice idea!!
As a teenage girl, I love it! No money can buy those, it's made just for certain someone 3
Your tools look so clean, its like you don't use them.
Very nice! Do you have any videos that explain the different dremel polishers?
Thanks
Nice job!
Wow this was interesting. I’ve made LOTS of silver wire rings. And memory wire bracelets. I’m not super strong. Do you think bending the spoon would be to tough for me to do? I love the two pieces you made. Great job!!!! Did she like the ring and bracelet?
I loved watching your creativity at work. I'm very new to all of this Uri Geller stuff, but am wondering if you bent the spoon the other way and added either resin or a large pendant stone to fit? Thanks for the inspiration.
wow amazing work
Great video. Sterling would have been easier but I like how you used household tools.
So cool!!
Hi, i love ur creativity and they are beautiful. I need some basic beginners metal jewlery tools at an affordable price, maybe used. Any ideas?
Just playing, I know Steve is a good guy.
Nice
The pads go on the same attachment as a cutter. They have holes, they're just EXTREMELY small. :)
thanks, enjoyed your ez going and ok, lets do this !
I'm always looking in thrift stores for spoon rings and they are hard to come by after watching this video I'm looking for spoons with a unique pattern to make my own up
It is so nice of you tk think about her! You could have stamped something on the flat part.. like her name or some expression.. it still looks good though..
Thank you, Beyonce!
I hate it when I beat on it with a hammer and break my wood... lol
Cool vid.
AdrenalineJunkieProd Boom
Hi Chris! Can I get the info on ordering the Bender an pin? Thanks!!
thats sweet!
u can do an engraving on the spoon its self, say i love u, or something like that.
I am trying to drill stainless steel flatware to make jewelry. I have a table top drill press, 5 speed. Set on the lowest speed. I am sing 3 in one oil. and using 1/16th drill bit (which is the size of the hole I need) I am having so much trouble drilling holes. Even to the point of breaking drill bits, and starting holes that never seem to want to go through. Can you help me?
Thank you
Dawn
I'll take my chances and let you know how it goes, thanks for the boost of confidences. If she don't like them I will tell her YOU made them. I just got the adjustable from Harbor Freight, I had a coupon for a set of 3 for free with a $50. purchase. That's why I don't have money to buy her a gift now ;)
I love it! I definitely give it a try. BUT I could not see everything; some of it was not in the shot. Do you have more?
I want to work with some silver plated flatware is it better to work with?
great vid.. woulda been good too see your wifes reaction .. thanks for sharing
That's sweet! How'd she like it??
You sound like Bane... great video!!
"Happy Valentine's day, love!
By the way, we need some new spoons..."
I have never tried but comments left here suggest that it is easier, Thank
I used a Dremel tool with as metal cutting wheel. You can find the cutting wheel wherever Dremel tools are sold. I have another spoon related video planned in a few days and I will try to show more then so make sure you subscribe to my channel so you don't miss it. Steve
Just a thought for next time...or even to add to your gift....on the spoon part....engrave a meaningful message. :)
Someone mentioned Pepe as a source for a bending tool. Where can I find it?
Anealing the metal, heating would soften the metal..... the flat spoon head you could attach a cabishon stone piece, or paint with a metal paint.....OH! Buy a mandrel or ring sizer... See A2C-Addicted2Crafting on face book.
just go to stodoys if you'd like to make it yourself.
Looks like a lot of work to bend it....but great job man! Hope she liked it
First off good job with the chick gear, personally i think its some kick ass stuff, and from personal experience no woman who acually cares would be mad to get a handmade jewelry,, good stuff iam going to try it out. although i dont have a woman to give it to.
make a necklace out of that leftover spoon!!
Hello and thank you, I also made a belt out of more spoons here Spoon Jewelry Belt
Hi, You are welcome! The belt turned out well I think! I know your wife loves all the things that you make for her from your hands and heart! :)
Maybe you should have tried to cut the wood to fit inside the gold bracelet....then formed the one you were making to that. To me that seems like it would have worked better.
If you like it then you better put a spoon on it! ;)
bracelets are actually more comfortable when they are more oval than round...
Spoons...hehe
bracelet and ring is very pretty. sooo. did your wife luv them. Hope so.
yes, she likes them. thanks for the comment
u need 1 of those tools plumbers use 2 bend there pipes
Correction: Northwestern New York.
I don't think I'd wear that. Spoons nah unless with a imprint design probably then. Romantic anyway.
