That Isaiah Thomas story is hilarious! 😂😂😂😂
Open court was great
Facts… of all the stories Isiah’s definitely the best!!! But, the stories of how big and strong Shaq is and how he was to guard was hilarious …….
Bruh I’m crying 🤣🤣
On god I’m crying
Ain't nobody guarding Shaq!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 #folded
“Ain’t nobody guarding Shaq!” 😂
Yao and Wilt couldn’t 🤔🤔🤔
@@michaelsimmons2745 well we saw Yao get punished…… I think he woulda done the same to Wilt for sure
@@MechanicalheartbeatRPM he definitely would've gave work to Wilt
@@michaelsimmons2745 nope
Wilt Moses Gilmore Unseld could guard him
Phil Jackson said. "Who would you pick between Kobe and MJ?" "Whichever one comes with Shaq."
“Imagine trying to foul a tree moving like a cat” 🤯
That was a bar 🔥🔥🔥
I immediately thought of Treebeard from LoTR
NBA players were incredibly lucky that at his core, Shaq was really a nice, well raised dude!!!
Imagine Shaq with Charles Oakley’s temperament!
Shaq was literally a human cheat code ranked 100. Strong, big, athletic, fast and also agile!
Yea till they learned how to take him out the game cuz can’t shoot ft,s😂😂😂 . They never should have made the Shaq attack rule. He get a rule change cuz he can’t shoot. And he most def couldn’t bullie on my boy 🐛 😂😂😂😂
He bully a Kmart level player but Rodman held his own on Shaq. Shaq like picking on yow. Greg ostertag . Smiths. People that scared😂😂😂
When Allen Iverson said he took me up with him 😂😂😂😂
4:09 on this video is hilarious 😂
He cleared out the whole bench on a loose ball and didn’t even fall
Real talk
I love that we have so many players doing their own podcasts now, so we can hear in their own words these stories of being on the court with fellow legends. I wish greats from other sports did the same.
"Imagine trying to foul a tree, moving like a cat" 😂😂😂😂
Shaq called himself "Superman" for a reason. 💪💪
Imagine guarding a Tree moving like a Cat.Ain't gonna lie that's the best analogy of Shaq i've ever heard
Facts🤣😂
Im so happy that I was on the time Shaq and Penny played, Shawn and The Glove played, Mike and Pippen played, Malon and Stocked played, The bad boys all together played, Drexler, Worm, White C, Hakeem, Charles, Latrell, Stockhouse, Penny, Tim H, Grant Hill, Miller, Mourning, Dikembe, Roninson and also after this came the roockies..... IA, Koby, Garnet and more.
He was big and so Quick at his size!
"I couldn't see the defender!" 😂
They had to change the equipment because of Shaq. “Shaq proof rim”
MY All Time Favorite NBA Player
My fav Shaq story told by Dennis Scott. Teammates in Orlando....but not at the time of the story. Dennis Scott said, that he had swung down at the ball....to of course try to knock the ball out of Shaq's hands. Dennis Scott emphasized that he had done a windup, to swing downward as hard as he could. Ball did not budge, Shaq scored, and Dennis Scott immediately ran off the court into the locker room.....he had separated his shoulder. That's how strong Shaq was/is.
This is GOLD!
I know that feeling of being lifted when you try to foul. Earing this from athletes is astonishing
I played with a guy in the Navy that was 6'5" and about 280. He was our version of Shaq. Playing pick-up with a guy like that you better be on his team.
the last part was ridiculous 🤣🤦♂️
Shaq was my dad's favourite player. I have never seen a player like him and I think I will never again. Phenom
Man you did yo thang wit this respect 1000
What a GREAT video! Thanks! ❤ In L.A., during his time there, we called those intentional fouls "Hack-a-Shack". Hehe
Dope video great job
I loved the video bro, keep up the great work
Brian Scalabrine story is funny too.. he said coach said we have to foul shaq so he doesn't get the and-1, so shaq gets it, i wind up as hard as i can and foul him.. and im thinking hes gonna turn around and kill me.. even worse, he barely even notices i fouled him.. i thought, should i even still be in the league aftet that.. loosely quoted as i heard it a while ago
That Isaiah Thomas story is too funny bro😂😂😂
I'm old enough I remember watching Wilt and Bill and Kareem when he was Lew, Shaq is still my number one center.
When AI said Kobe, ask him what's wrong with you? Are you trying to die!😂😂😂😂😂❤
His footwork for a man his size was incredible.
The clip at 4:13 of the whole bench clearing out is hilarious 😂
He was a beast in LSU and the beginning of his NBA career with Orlando and LA until he gained so much weight.
He still made the all star game at 37
I think if Shaq would've stayed in his LSU/Orlando era he would've been even more dominant
in prime, the most monstrous player we've seen yet. And an awesome guy to boot.
You will N E V E R see another player like Shaq, straight freak of nature
Shaq volleyball spiked ostertag's hook.. 1:14😂😂😂
The youngsters habe no idea prime shaq today teams would have to play bigs
Excellent vid Bruh!!!💯💯💯❗️👊▪️
I'm spat my water out at the "who got shaq" joke...😅😅😅😅😅😅
All of Them .. Good Work...
Gotta say Isaiah’s story 🤣 but I admire K Marts honesty “Impossible”
When Shaq was at LSU, they played Duke one game. The noise was DEAFENING to say the least. Guys were going NUTS about this kid from LSU. I had never in my life seen a big man move that fast and dunk that hard. He had a predator mindset, and ruled the paint with an iron fist. Highly aggressive and dominant; definitely a 90’s type player.
Bro when the Suns bench got TF up out the way had me done!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Try guarding a tree that moves like a cat" is bonkers.
"You lucky you from Jersey" 🤣🤣🤣
As a Spur fan I remember watching those Lakers series and feeling despair each time Shaq was on the court, a walking cheat code.
Great video
Clips took me back, I remember always thinking damn Ostertag be getting abused 😂
The Whole video Was Entertaining
Thank you. Very cool walk
Shaq was my Jordan and I watched both of them when I was a kid
I've always loved Shaq. It's a good thing he was always so good natured. He definitely had physics on his side. And his after career life he does a lot for young ones and seems to be a good business mind.
Looooooool Zeek said, WHO GOT SHAQ, AINT NOBODY ON HIM LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL SMDH !!!!!😂😅😂
Eddy curry said it felt like he was in a car wreck trying to guard Shaq for a whole game, after the game in the locker room i was f**ked up 😂😂
I remembered that story of Isiah Thomas aka Zeke on Open Court he just couldn't say Dennis Rodman 😂
Yeah Shaq was a beast, Isaiah had me rollin😂😂😂
My all time favorite on and off the court.
Who guarding Shaq!? Had me dying 😂
This was one of my favorite videos. Shaq was an animal. Its between Kareem, Wilt and Shaq as the Most Dominant Big Men Ever.. Neither was Human. Wilt Bench Pressed 500lbs before every game. Played 48mins a game, Had a 54" vertical.. He was the NCAA National high jump Champion, which verifies the Vertical also he was a Professional Dancer and Volleyball player, Not to mention he beat Jim Brown in a 100meter dash in Jim Browns prime. The block shot wasn't a metric until the mid to late 70s and some say him and Bill Russell averaged over 20 blocks a game. But, Wilt wasn't the steam roller like Shaq. Wilt had a Finesse Game; Mid range step back off one foot, Short Hooks and The best Footwork Arguably in Basketball History; remember Wilt was a Professional Dancer so his footwork was Amazing. The Dream Mimicked Wilts footwork. He got chips, he should have had more, but look at who he was up against. The Celtics had damn near all HOFers on those teams and they Had The First GOAT of Basketball running the show in Bill Russell 'The Greatest winning Athlete of All Time. 11Chips in a 13yrs Career. He should have had 11 MVPs both League and Finals.. But.. Those Awards didn't come around until after his Career was over. Michael Jordan was the Adomu/The New Start of a Cleaner more Marketable NBA. The NBA internationally made people forget its Start and Killed the Legend and Legacy of many GOATs that we have seen in the League. Shaq was Amazing.. But to call his the Most Dominant Ever.. That's Impossible to say. Because now, The Game is Spread wide open. The Big Man is Obsolete if he can't Shoot the three or Guard the Three. His conditioning would have retired him early in this era. Not Wilt and Kareem.. Those Guys had the three levels of the game that is required to Succeed in the Game today. Shaq only Housed Two. Down Low with the Mid range hook floater. And he couldn't shoot free throws. So yes in Today's Game he wouldn't be a Dominant, He wouldn't get as many touches because 3 is worth more than two and An And1 with Shaq would be a gamble, and he would foul out alot, because the Big men of today are Point Forwards. They Handle the rock. Mannn Let me Stop. I'm a true lover on the Game. We can talk BBall all day. Great Video. Make one about Kareem, Oscar Robinson and Wilt. These Guys were Insane. Their Games were Amazing. Wilt would be Greek Freak, Dream, and Kawhi and Dirk in One Person. Tooooo Kold!! Bill Russell was Lebron back then but add Rodman, GP, Kawhi, Charles, Zeek and Scotty P all in one person. You can see where everyone got their Games from when you watch and learn about these Guy. Shoot, Oscar Robinson in the Father of the Cross over dribble(Dribble Master), the Stepback and an Mid Range Master and His IQ was beyond the level of what the NBA could conceive. All these Guys were ABA players first and the ABA destroyed the NBA. The NBA was boring and the ABA like the Negro Baseball League was a Spectacle.. Mannn Let me stop. Peace Family.
"Thank God Shaq Was Raised Right"
- Kevin Garnett
Ain’t nobody guarding shaq 😂😂😂
Dennis Rodman held his own against Shaw pretty dam well
Look at the numbers. Shaq averaged 29 against rodman as his primary defender
Karl Malone had a lot of fun going against Shaq. And before anyone uses the excuse that he was a PF and Shaq was a Center, they often got caught on switches. Shaq was forced to guard him aplenty on switches and got burned in the playoffs
Also Ben Wallace
Shaq was force that couldn't be stopped, especially when he was going at u 80mph dribble,spin-off & dunk on anyone & everyone, especially how he had dunked on Chris Dudley 😂😂😂😂
Shaq with Kobe mindset, is like batman with superman powers!!
The Isaiah story is funny as hell😂😂😂
He dunk on the entire team
Good Morning Thomas And My Boy Wallace And Agent 0😂😂
Is that a young ayo dosunmu from the bulls next to Iverson at 8:47
My favorite Shaq story was when he went up on over Chris Dudley then Dudley threw the ball at him lol
My favorite game was when iverson drove the lane on Shaq and got the and 1..Shaq knocked iverson clean off his feat and then picked him up off the floor like a newborn baby..I forgot the year but it was in LA..Shaq have so much respect for Iverson because he was never scared to go in the paint
9:11 the funniest part i gotta kick out of
"A player you feel like you'll lose your life if you played against him" 😂😂😂😂
I touch’em a little bit 😂😂😂😂
It's like having a o lineman play basketball. Who can move like a tight end
A.I story I remember that play
I already knew going in you werent going to find any of the following players:
Hakeem Olajuwon, Karl Malone & Tim Duncan
Guys he couldn't intimidate and match him basket for basket and rebound for rebound and gave him the business in the playoffs.
In Olajuwon/Malones case he had to wait for them both to age out. And for Tim Duncan he had to wait for kobe bryant to take over those series.
And i was right.
AINT NOBODY GUARDING SHAQ!!!!! 😂😂😂
Shaq was unstoppable!! It wasn’t fair!!😂😂😂
talking about a damn tree moving like a cat 😂😂
if you could have put Kobes mentality into Shaq you would have the best player to play the game
Channing Frye said “imagine trying to foul a tree moving like a cat” 😂😂😂 wtf
W vid
im a hakeem fan and not a shag fan, but boy oh boy that man is unstopable even when he wasn't in his best shape, he was around 400+ lbs but they just list him as 350 lbs cause they didn't want the public to know his real weight.
Oh!!! Ain't Nobody guarding Shaq 😮
The funniest part about zeke story is ive never heard it and knew he was going to say he couldn’t see the defender. How you ask? Because in that exact clip you literally cant see reggie miller standing behind him
Shaq got alot of big men paid and drafted or signed in free agency since the day he got drafted to Orlando, it doesn't matter if you was good or bad you was almost damn near guaranteed a 10 year career just because if you was in the east you had to see twice in the regular season and if you played in the finals thats an additional 7 games if it goes all 7 so that's at least 9 games you gotta check Shaq, now in the west you gotta see him 4 times in the regular season and at least 7 games in the playoffs so that at least 11 games and vice versa depending on what conference Shaq is in
One of my favorites of all time being Shaquille O'Neal no one will be as strong as him
They really reinforced the rim when he was playing. He looked like he was always suppose to break the rim when he dunked.
Only big man with better "feet work" was Hakeem.
Facts. Imagine Shaq could move like Dream 😳
As great as Shaq was he should've been a top 3 leading scorer of all time, but he left a lot out. Didn't work on his free throws as much, and he didn't keep himself in top shape.
Isaiah ain’t nobody guarding Shaq lol 😂
Bout time Shaq is one of the greatest ever i wanted to be Shaq ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ greatest big man ever
Bruh they had to change the basketball rim cause of that dude shaq was a monster
you need Yoa Ming and Dennis Rodman to double Shaq just to slow him down and they both would foul out at the end
Era wise: Shaq was the most dominant big man in the NBA.
People feared Shaq and Shaq feared MJ. 😱 🤲🏿
No disrespect to Wilt, Russell, Dream, Patrick and the great Kareem A Jabbar but none of them were 300 lbs of pure physical domination..
Everyone of the top 5 Centers had certain traits over the other.
Russel: l best defender
Wilt: greatest rebounder athlete
Kareem: best offensive Center
Hakeem: Most versatile
Shaq: Most physically dominating
Dream got the young Shaq.
@@jermaineroane1509 young Shaq got the old Dream
Dream wasn't old he was drafted in 84 and he played in the 94 finals against Shaq which is 10 years so if anything dream was in his absolute prime, yall gotta quit just saying shit man do some homework
@@lorenzoyoung698 That was his 11th season and he was 32 years old in the 95 Finals.
We all saw Shaq at 32.....overweight and on his 3rd team and despite being carried by Wade, unable to get past Detroit. He was a 20ppg scorer in the regular season and playoffs. He wasnt averaging no 30+ppg in the playoffs like Dream was at that age.
If someone gonna say Shaq was "young" then Hakeem was "old". Shaq at 32 wasn't good enough to lead a team anywhere near a title.
Isaiah thought he was playing with four.
Ive always said gimme Shaq when he was in LA against any center in the history of the league and I'll like those chances
When I think of the Lakers, I think Shaq, not Kobe and I hated the Lakers as a Spurs fan! Now, I respect the dominance of the big man and a true fan of his big heart today!
Diesel !!!!!!!!!!!... THE GREATEST
