I hope you guys love our long awaited new episode of #ChallengeAccepted. I am excited to share that you can expect a brand new release every single Sunday for the next 5 weeks! You guys are going to be blown away by what we’ve been working on. We are BACK!!! :)
also we may have some Thursday bonus extra releases too so hold on to ya shorts kids
You are amazing and stong and an inspiration
Oh my gosh yaaas
Michelle Khare wow..... i was crying with u, my heart was racing, and i wasn’t even doing the challenge..... i can’t even imagine what it was like to go through this... you have so much strength Michelle! 👐🏻❤️
Michelle, you are one of the most bad ass people I’ve ever seen. You continue to inspire me and thousands of others. I wholeheartedly appreciate these videos, I cried when you climbed the A-frame and slid down the rope because that was so motivating to me and I can’t express how much you inspire me. Thank you so much! Keep up the hard ass work you do.
I have 2 responses to people yelling at me:

2. Extreme crying

As a former Marine myself, I appreciate that you and your fellow participants took this challenge seriously and did not make a joke of it. The gentleman who quit after day 1 is the reality of Marine Corps bootcamp. It's purpose in phase 1 and the first week of bootcamp is to weed out those not cut out for what's to come. You did an excellent job and put your heart into those 3 grueling days. It was great to witness. The respect you three had for each other, and the camaraderie you built in 3 shorts days, goes to show just why Marines bond all over the world because each know exactly what it took to earn that title of a United States Marine. Something nobody can ever take away. Esprit De Corp. Proud of you all for the hard work and dedication and respect for yourself and the Marine Corps.
Thank you for your service o7

This has made me appreciate my grandfather so much more. He's a retired marine, he doesn't like to talk about his time serving, so I didn't know the lengths they go through to really break you down and build you back up. Also imagine beating a marine in an obstacle course that they've done probably too many times to count?!?!??! Impressive.

Can you imagine those trainers at home with their families just talking normally
imagine running into your drill instructor at the mall or something ahaha
"So anyway, I started *yelling*"
They’re called drill instructors
If you join the military you understand that DI's and DS's are one of the most respected jobs anyone can be offered. You are literally training the next era of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen. My Drill Sergeants were not my friends but I still stay in contact with them because they are the best of the best as far as guidance. At home they're completely normal people with families, but in order to change a person from a civilian to a disciplined soldier, you have to push them and that's what they do. Only about 1% of the population joins the military and it's their job to train and weed out those unfit to serve.
But it was well executed 😂
5:33 he was my DI in 2017, I crossed paths with him last year and this week I saw him again. Great DI.
When you think it can't get worse, it gets worse. This statement was so accurate. That's every day of boot camp in a nutshell. I remember this one time going back to the squad bay and thinking we were finally going to be able to go to the bathroom and drink water and then they said cavalars (Helmets) on line and my heart dropped. I thought at least let us to to the bathroom first like damn. We ended up doing fireman carries and buddy drags in our sweatshirts for hours. Everyone already had to pee so bad and were dehydrated before we even started and we were there doing it for I don't even know how many hours. And the heat on top of not having drank water in forever and then having to run around and fireman carry plus trying with everything you have not to pee your pants.
Me: ‘dies’
Drill Sargent: get up, who said you can sleep
I felt that
Hahaha 😂 u soo funny!
LMAO
Hahhaha😂
Get up maggot
I appreciate that she didn’t make any silly faces after getting commands or minimized the training in any way. She took it very serious and really did her best! Way to go!
Yeah, I also appreciate that as well. Especially coming from a celebrity youtuber/millenial..
They weren't "taking it seriously." The drill instructors make you take it seriously.
@Fiona mcgonigle the sand pit (or P.I.T for platoon incentive training) is a place where you as an individual or with the rest of your platoon are taken to, to "correct" deficiency in training. You're put through intensive physical activity, combined with mental fatigue (mind games). It's not a fun place to be when everyone is throwing sand into the air and you're covered in sweat. You quickly learn to do things the way the DI's want them to be done, as a team.
I was the 1,600 like😂
Geneva Doll so true
Michelle Ilysm, I love how you just show what you are really feeling without playing the “hero part”, even though you are a real life hero🫶
It amazes me after I had finished looking back at how good the drill’s were at switching from screaming to supporting. They knew what you needed when you needed it

Typically they're not Drill Instructors, so they don't really care so much about the whole "screaming" stuff. They can be dicks still though, I had one who didn't give a shit that my rope harness was fucked up for the rappelling.

Boot
I was wondering how easy they took it on them for this video, was still pretty intense holy cow!!
Well fair enough but if they broke immediately it would be a short and boring video hehe
I admit, I started off getting a chuckle out of watching them go thought this and doubted they finish.
But then I had a flashback to boot camp....I stopped the video to reminisce, and recall how tough boot camp was, how there were many recruits that showed up completely unprepared physically or mentally to do such a hard thing. Every recruit struggles with something at some point in training, whether physical, mental or spirit.
We started off with almost 100 recruits in our platoon, we finished with 86 if I recall. A few were injured, a few didnt make it more than a week before they lost it or broke down and were discharged, a few were discharged for personal issues they had lied about like their police record, or owing child support.
Yall deserve a big Ooo Rahh! and much respect for your efforts and sticking with it!!!! I sincerely hope that you were able to take some valuable lessons from it.....
Michelle, you showed you have loads of spirit in the face of adversity!!! You pushed yourself, let your instructors push you and did awesome!!!! Thats the Marine corps spirit!!!
The speech that Senior Drill Instructors give when you first meet them is so powerful. Someone telling you they expect 100% effort, and that they will do all they can for you to reach that is inspiring.
You learn to love, hate and respect them, but in the end, and forever, you appreciate and cherish what they teach you that you can do with the right mind set.
Caleb was so nice he had a good heart he is a star ⭐️❤️

They pick the tallest and most buff people to be drill sgts. The point is to be scary

Having been to marines boot camp three things that will never happen, you say “yes sir/ma’am or no sir/ma’am” when answering a question and “aye aye sir/ma’am” when acknowledging a command, a drill instructer will never tell you “good job”, and you never respond with “I” you always use “this recruit”. It's Sammy Wow, that’s sad! Maybe you need to join the military to actually get some confidence in yourself....
I would start to be laughing because of anxiety.
@@chrisafp071 Whyyyy would anyone do that just to gain confidence? Logic 🤦

drill instructor: [yells at me]
my tear ducts: *peace was never an option*
strawberry flavored clouds sameeee I would survive the athletics but when they raise their voice I’d just shiver and cry 😂
LOL 5 minutes into the video and I almost felt like crying because of all those screams
I’d definitely either yell back or cry lol
Anthony Collier good to know
Dude I have anxiety and getting yelled at makes me want to cry and I hate that so much!
Saaame, I would shut down and do things even slower but more focused
Awesome video I've always been curious

Me:Ya dAmN rIgHt!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's so fucking powerful that Michelle is still going through the entire video as there's tears in her eyes and spit on her face. She doesn't try to sugar coat the experience and pretend it was some polished experience. She was suffering and she still made it through. You could see she was having a hard time and she still kept going. Truly inspirational.
this was maybe tough for civilians to watch but in reality they were so nice to her! This was a baby version. And spit and tears were from the chamber it only lasts for about 90 seconds and it reality it’s not that bad.
ava booky were you a marine?
Zach Jordan I’m still in the military active duty
ava booky Thank you for your service ❤️
