I don't think people understand the story that's being told here...so...let me enlighten you...
In the beginning, 4 loyalists gather together to do a seance to bring their master, Jackson, back from the grave...
They perform the ritual and he rises from the grave...
...then, the 4 loyalists equip Jackson with 4 pieces of enchanted armor, so that he can harness enough power to perform another ritual...
They journey through the forest, and the combined power of their spiritual energies literally cuts down trees as they pass through the forest...
Finally, they arrive at their final destination...the grave of Jackson's true love...and they begin the final ritual...
...this ritual is long and strenuous, as all five of them pour their energies into it...but, this ritual requires sacrifice...and the four loyalists give their lives to complete the ritual...
...and then, finally, with the ritual complete, Jackson's betrothed, the love of his life, is risen from the grave, and they are reunited...
...and for a short time they are joined together in blissful embrace...
...but then, the power of the ritual slowly fades...and as the enchantment fades away, both Jackson and his betrothed descend back into the afterlife, together........

The thing is that... Idk how Chinese would work ... I don’t like to admit but if it would be in Chinese I’ll less likely like it like I like it now. And I’m nit even an English speaking person, it’s just about the musical sound of the language for me

The handsigns appeared in this MV are neither from any Ninja culture nor from any Naruto animates. Those are from 奇门遁甲九字真言:临兵斗者皆阵列前行, which is an important culture from ancient China. (This part of Chinese culture, 结印, was formed around the year of 400 in China, and later was brought to Japan. That's why the similar elements were shown in some Japanese animates or Ninja culture.) Just in case anyone is curious about it, you can copy and paste those Chinese words above and goggle the images of it. :)
And the historical cloth that the lady is wearing is called Han Fu.
Thanks Jackson for continuously spreading Chinese culture to the world. Well done and much loves and respects to Jackson.

Idk but maybe bcos i'm asian that's why i'm educated with asian cultures. There's alot of asian countries but chinese culture and japanese culture are the richest culture for me not just in asia but in the globe. Jackson incorporated the chinese novel and that novel was also made as a movie (Red cliff: Battle of Three kingdoms) basically jack and the girl were portraying the characters there as a general warrior and the girl as his wife. The 100 Ways title is a representation of the 100 strategies in the novel/movie. It amazes me that jack will never run out of ideas how he will incorporate his chinese culture in every music he does cos china is very rich and you'll be amaze about how much hidden culture they have. Jack has all the power to penetrate in the states and be big there cos he has proven that he is more than a kpop idol and an asian artist. He is very global that everyone no matter what race you're from you will definitely be amazed by his talents and swag cos he is definitely born to be a global star.

What I got from the video was that they were lovers and died but they weren't buried together & therefore weren't together in the afterlife. Her tombstone was near that tree and his somewhere else. So maybe he was some general or important figure in the army and his soldiers under him "revived" him with those hand movements so he could go and find her grave, "revive" her and then be buried and live in the afterlife with her. Because in the end when he does the hand movements and the lights go off, the smoke rises and they start going down into the ground just like how they both rose from it.

The meaning of MV # 100WAYS
This is one of the ceremonies of China Is the body of the husband and wife moved together to bury.
Will see that at the beginning of the ceremony, bring Jackson first from the older scene Then enter the scene that looks newer Performed a ritual calling her up. At the end both go down into grave together forever
***the main meaning of the song is "It's not mean I love you until the day I died. but even though I will death is still love you"❤️

While idk if Jackson has an interpretation to the hands signs he did in the video I agree with efra that it definitely could very well be a reference to Naruto. Me being an anime fanatic lol i automatically thought of Naruto since in Naruto there’s a jutsu called “the summoning jutsu: reanimation ” which is basically a technique that is used to revive the dead. Idk I could be wrong but it fits perfectly to that theory

If you watch Chinese historical dramas, you see a lot these hand gestures done among the Taoist priests. Japanese culture is influenced a lot by ancient Chinese culture. For example, Dragon Ball characters are from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Some Kuji-in practices are also called Taoist seals. These hand gestures were originally from Taoist practice.

Those hand is TAOIST HAND/FINGER GESTURE, a chinese philosophical/religious tradition called TAOISM. The story goes this way, 4 dancers are guard/soldier of the general (Jackson), they summoned the General from the grave, with their lives, they helped the general to bring back the life of his love (Woman in the video) and then they have each other again in another life (end of the video). Its a sad love tale in china, but with a pop twist.

The story is about a double burial of a general and his wife. The general who died in middle of nowhere during a battle, and his wife died peacefully at home. They are lovers so they wanted to be buried together, because in the ancient times of China, people must be buried with the loved ones so they can 'meet in next life' in a sense of buddhism reunion and re-carnation. I think the ritual of summoning in this Mv is just a metaphor of what we called "merging graves", meaning moving one grave next to another, this often happens in the old time when people move their grandparents' graves to their hometown or move their parents grave together. Cuz in the ancient times during the war, people just died and get buried anywhere, if you are lucky, you can find your family member's grave and move it back to where you think they belong. This is basically the storyline behind the MV.

Uh also he’s saying there are 100 ways to leave your lover but he’s the only one(way) you need. In other words, he’s gonna steal your girl. Fact.

The four guys hats are more Chinese in style. Reminds me of the helmets of some of the famous clay warriors found at an imperial Chinese grave site. Having a senior moment and can’t remember if her dress is Hong Kong in style or S. Korea, but I think it is Hong Kong. Jackson Wang is from Hong Kong and made his career in S. Korea.
