I feel like you would appreciate the work that Jackson Wang puts into his production company ( Team Wang) and his mv's ( i suggest any behind the scenes footage, he's a treasure to watch) . I absolutely loved this whole thing. Jackson said the story was about a guy who was killed so the prince could have the girl and then she killed herself to be with her true love.
If I remember, this is a retelling of a "Romeo and Juliet" type of story. He gets revived to help in a war/conflict, but instead, he just wants to be with the love of his life for eternity. (Re)Buried together.

I knew him since he was Joonie's friend but haven't heard his songs before.. and I remember getting obsessed with his videos for a while.. and then I liked some of his songs.. but I mostly liked his videos and the choreography and ideas and how he was involved in making them.. borahae 💜

I came across this video and it started me on my Jackson journey. Its this era of him that I like. His newer stuff not so much. I love the scenery, dancing and story here. Check out his LMLY video he produced.
Calling death her lover. Asking her to suffer living a little longer just to be with him because he will make it worth it. It is a really uhhh pricey way to leave that lover (his guys had to delete themselves to bring her back). Just like a lot of love relationships sometimes you do really uhhh questionable moral shit to be with somebody you desire too much. Its so good.
How could you even see pass their beautiful reunited love coming back from the grave with all the mystical preparation and shaman power and the impossibility of it all to see a rock in the background?! I see you have little to no romance in your soul! Guess you won't be reuniting with some fantastical love from another dimension! Love Jackson's work, he is very hands on with his productions. More saucy would have worked.

Jackson has worked a lot with the Kinjaz dancers and always kidded them about being asked to join the team. They are very picky about who is part of the crew. He was so excited that they finally asked him to join their crew.

From very cinematic and story telling music videos, I really recommend "Blinding Hope" by japanese band The Gazette, amazing song and video, in video is long intro vithout music. This song was release in pandemic as message to fans, it's about depression and isolation, but there is hope that everything will be better. Lyrics are mostly in japanese but you can turn on english subs there.

Justice for the rock! 🪨 😂 Just kidding. I actually get what you mean about the rock. Most of the set looks fine but then you notice something in the background that looks like Styrofoam pretending to be a rock rather than an actual rock. Just a bit of inconsistency from the set designers & they probably thought the editing team would catch it & fix it when they did the gravestones. It was probably the new guy's job to paint the rock.

I love the beef with the rock. I like the MV and song but felt like it was a bit too theatre stagey in looks, too. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was the rock. Or the face that the set was just in front of a black screen probably and the couldn't lit a few parts to make it more like sky - like with the fog in the beginning.

No lol. “Henry” is the name I use to describe someone on set messing something up. It’s usually the cameraman; in this case it was the set designer. 😃

But the entire set is clearly...well, an artificial set. Everything is obviously fake to me. So I don't understand the one random background rock criticism.
Jackson is hit or miss with me, but with this mv, I love the song, but the scenery in the mv drives me crazy. It is too artificial. Those red leaves drive me crazy. They are all the same color- where is Mother Nature’s shading??? I think I have spent too much time in the woods, because this looks way too fake for my taste. And you are absolutely correct- that damn rock is too obvious and has too many leaves on it!
But Jackson has some great mvs, and some I just can’t watch, but I still listen to the song. I think it is his video budget. BTS has us spoiled.
