ps, is that a trip you would NOT do on the XR150L?
(just curious - I'm not (yet) a rider, "considering" the XR150L as my first ever bike. Excuse is I can use it on the farm:) )

I’d happily do this trip on the xr150l if it was working, I’ve had to order a new clutch as my xr150l had a catastrophic clutch failure due to a manufacturing defect. Was told it’s a 1 in 10 000 chance of happening by the dealer. Had 86 kms on it at time of failure, hope to have it back by June 7th. (Parts are on back order) from my 86 km review… rides well. Handles great both on and off road. But with my seemingly one off clutch failure I don’t want to recommend for or against the XR as I haven’t had enough time on it yet, but I’d definitely do this trip on it no problem if it was working
