    Making a T-Slot Spoilboard for my BOBS CNC KL744. I Really like this type of spoilboard (wasteboard). This was easy to make and only requires a way to rip the mdf and create the grooves.
    I use the:
    Kreg Rip Cut amzn.to/3fQzYvQ
    to break down the mdf.
    And the Kreg Featherboard when running it through my table saw:

    You should be able to find T bolts and nuts in the plumbing department at your big box store. This spoilboard looks great

      I’ll have to check that out. I wasn’t able to find them on the app, but not you mention it…toilet flanges just use a t-bolt.

      I’m going to be honest...I followed the instructions that Bob provided. If you have any questions, email the tech support for them (I did several times) and they always responded back quickly. I know my response is not very helpful, but Bob’s will be

    Hey. Would you consider making the spoil board for sale?

      @@TonyCollumtheHOWTOHERO I mean, would you be willing to cut and sell those individual boards ? I just don’t have a table saw to make those cuts. And how much would you sell it for?

      @@hmongclass I’ll be honest, you would come out cheaper buying a job site table saw from a pawn shop. MDF is so heavy it wouldn’t be worth the shipping cost, plus the material cost, and the labor. Or find someone local to help you out to keep cost down more

    Do my eyes deceive me, or is the whole structure made of wood?

    • @TonyCollumtheHOWTOHERO
      @TonyCollumtheHOWTOHERO  Před 3 lety

      It is made of wood. Birch plywood to be exact. Pretty cool setup. It is still a hobby machine, but it can handle faster feed rates because it is quite a bit heavier than other units in its class. Also the price for this 4’x4’ machine was comparable to the xcarve 1000mm unit.
