Ah yes. The episode that made us hate Stella even MORE!
Kid Blitzo was so smart and imaginative but his dad didn't seem to notice his talent at all. And kid Fizzarolli seemed to be so kind before he grew up to be a mean sarcastic clown. (He has those stretchy limbs at Ozzie's, and grownup Blitzo has those white marks all over his body - maybe they were both in a really bad accident?)
I think Stolas and his kid are called "precautionary heirs" because they're not really in line for the throne. His dad was out there having extra kids just in case something bad happens to his favorites. And yeah you're right Octavia should have been married off by now just like her dad. Stolas must be protecting her, she acts more like a normal teenager than a princess.
(It is weird that we don't see Stolas's brothers or sisters or mom, not even in his paintings as a baby and kid. Did he remember Blitzo for 25 years because he was all alone in that palace? Does the guy have any other friends even now?)
I feel really bad for both of them. And the idea that Fizzarolli and Blitzo got into an accident is interesting. As for stolas I hope he goes and finds a true life for himself with friends love etc. I also hope to see more families for Moxxie Blitzo and Stolas to see build them more as characters
We'll eventually meet Andrealphus this Season. Creator Viv introduced him in a teaser drawing as "Stolas' shitty brother-in-law"
Ahh that's why Stella calls her brother Drell, his name is "Al-Drell-Cell-Pi-Us"
This should be a very interesting season can't wait to see it glad I'm getting caught up now
@@ReggieWolf Lotsmofmintresting stuff and folks to meet, Moxxie's, Stella's Brother, Blitz's sister. Millie wrecking the shit of mafia henchmen, Moxxie undercover in a highschool, a remrch with Striker, and some kind of incident where Blitz need to hold and carry Loona over his head!?
This episode explains so much from the first season and their respective actions and habits without actually retconning anything. It's genius writing IMO.
It's also funny to me that Blitzo brought Stolas's constant and excessive dirty talk (that Blitzo very much does not seem to enjoy) on himself. That's what you get for seducing people to steal their stuff for your own benefit.
And Blitzo's father explains why Blitzo would come up with an idea like stealing from a Goetia in the first place and having the guts to actually go through with it. It also explains his use of puppy eyes.
Don't apologize for loving the cape. If we could make capes that awesome I think capes would make a comeback.

So, Stolas had to birth a 'precautionary heir'. This was Octavia. Octavia is not heir to the entire family. She is heir to Stolas' position in Hell's ranks.
So, if he dies, *she's* the new studies the stars to learn prophecies Goetia, and leads the troops he would have lead, raising them.
She'd probably have to get a heir soon as possible too. But since Stolas is alive and well, and demons are hardy, she's free to be a normalish young girl.
As for the crystals. They are Asmodean Crystals. As in the ruler of the Lust Ring, Asmodeus. Which he likely gives out to his minions to do their duty. Specifically succubi, to go to Earth and lust it up.
What type of demon was Blitzo in a relationship with before Stolas? A succubus. Verosika.
Blitzo stole from her before, her credit cards. Maybe he tried to steal something else? And when that failed or he was caught, he went for a new way to the human world. Stolas' book.
I think Blitzo had an idea one day, to get money from the Sinners. Maybe after accidentally going to the Human World with Verosika. Maybe she was taking him up there and he got an offer. We might find out one day. Whatever the case, he found he was good at the murder, and he felt he could achieve his dream through it, all he needed was a way up. And that's where Stolas came in. And I think Stolas pieced that together. He's a smart owl after all. When he's not blinded by love or lust.
It's interesting that the helluva boss story revolves so heavily around Blitzo. This man had a plan and was gonna get it done by any means necessary
If you rewatch Truth Seekers the part where Stolas appears has the same melody as the song he sang in this episode
man Blitz gets *sold* and still the sympathy goes to the rich royal with Astral Powers that admits he knew he was using Blitz for his own "freedom" by holding the book over his head >
I agree, the both of them are traumatized and deserve equal compassion. I feel like people pity stolas more cause he’s actually trying to make the relationship with Blitzø work, seeking a real connection with him, while Blitzø is screwing things up. I’m not blaming that on him cause i get where this behaviour came from and he is unaware of stolas’s feelings so its really easy to him to think he’s just a plaything to stolas. Another thing to point out: yeah, its probably true Stolas used him for sex at the start of their relationship but he did this only thinking Blitzø liked it too, he wouldn’t just force him-or anyone else- if he tought he didn’t want to, indeed he just leaves him alone in ep 7 of season 1, even tho he was just looking for a connection. Plus, Blitzø was the one making the first move on him after all, which was yeah, for stealing the book but Stolas didn’t know that back then so its reasonable he may think he wasn’t one sided.
Feel so sad for Stolas. Especially when we look at how he rarely shows his emotions. I used to think that he is restraining those because he is a royalty. But if you look at his dad and Ozzie, who is also a Goetia I believe…? They express their emotions freely. So this might be a result of his dad “not want to deal with him”…😢
Yea I think he doesn't express them because he had no one to express to them at all like you said he dad couldn't be bothered, don't know where his mom is and no friends 😔

Blitz and Stolas aren't terrible fathers, they just screw up because they let their own personal lives get in the way. They're miles better than Paimon, Cash Buckzo, and Crimson (FUCK Crimson, I hate *everything* about him.)
Facts as I got through season 2 I see more and more why they are the way they are and how compared to others the are decent
Stolitz is a loved trope of this series, and there's the ever-present uncertainty of whether they'll end up together. I think the more likely scenario, and the more mature writing decision, should be that they don't end up together
We'll have to see! I believe they will have a happy ending together and that it's been planned from episode one. Two messed-up single fathers who have a lot to give each other. There's nothing immature about breaking free from that generational cycle of abuse that Reggie pointed out, and learning to have a healthy relationship as equals.
The Asmodean crystals at 26:47 are crystals that the demon prince Asmodeus from episode 7 makes for his succubi and incubi like Verosika Mayday from episode 3 that allow them to enter the human world without books or spells. In fact, in season 2 episode 4 near the beginning Stolas looks at his phone which has a reminder of a meeting he set up with Asmodeus. It seems like he is trying to create the crystals for IMP so that he they won't need the book anymore.
26:59: People speculated that these crystals actually allow you to travel to the human world. So Blitzo wouldn't need the book anymore. And that Stolas was gonna propose to Blitzo with them.
Hmmmm that's a risky move for Stolas cause if Blitzo can get back and forth to earth easily he won't need Stolas but if they build a good bond then it's a great move. And Blitzo should be careful going to earth with those agents after them

To be fair, Paimon(the father) probably wouldn't fit in the circus tent and would draw too much attention if he was there. Also, Stolas is a prince not a king, but his dad wanted him to have a precautionary heir which was kind of unnecessary because apparently there's like 74 ars gotia
Some people transalated it asmodiun crystals are a sort teleportation crystal thats used by sucubus to get to the human world
26:28 I would guess that the Asmodean Crystals are like Viagra or something, given the fact the overlord of Lust was called Asmodius.
This episode so how Piemon and Cash Buckso are terrible dad's in diffrent way. Piemon has way too many kids with diffrent mother's and is too rich for his own good. Cash is a born grifter and uses his family as accessories to petty crimes, and he emotionally manipulates Blitz.
All the Aris Goitea are related and most are Piemon's sons, those who aren't are his siblings. Asmodeus is a member makeing him Stolas' uncle. As to the Asmodian Crystals, they are magic crystals Asmodeus creates that are set into jewelry and allow demons to travel to earth, Succubi/Incubi like Versoka are given them as their purposs is to spread STDs, sexual depravity and drain the life force of humans via sex. The implication is Stoals plans to get one for Blitz, hopeing change their relationship from transactional obligation to a proper romantic one.
I love how the episode has a perfect "Furry Reminder" moment, those moments or behaviors that remind you a character is an anthropomorphic animal, with Blitz twisting Stolas' head around. And how we get to see a part of the pilot from a different angle, Blitz crashing into Stella's garden party after sleeping with Stolas tomget the Book.
Now we come full circle. Now you understand some things. Especially that Stolas is not just a horny owl like some thought. He was caught up. Came back home from a shitty night with Bliz and Bliz goes home crying which still has not been addressed as of late. Stolas I feel had more character and it explains so much of his background and the hierarchy in their realm. Fizzaralli was Bliz clown friend till they were enemies. The line you missed when you paused: 12:03 "I am so good at daddying" as he gets rid of his kid and does not want to be bothered by his crying. Its a lot. Next episode will be fun and funny in my opinion
To be fair, I think we all thought he was a horny lunatic at first. Subversion at it's finest.
Yea this episode was heavy with the emotional background for blitzo and Stolas but I appreciate it. Thing like this separate this from just another cartoon. Can't wait for the next episode.

Historicaly they didnt want to marry outside of social class because marriage was seen as trade your trading your daughter for political power or to gain allies , eventurly families like the hashburgs decided marry into every royal family to get power it worked making them the most powerful family in europe and making most the old royal families cousins meaning to get a good political marriage they had to marry their daughters to their cousins
