Ok so what's the best 2020 brand? I should have researched first I just spent 289.99 on a 5.11 Valiant Duty Jacket
The pic is clickbait but, the Kitanica Mark 1 is the jacket in the picture.
It is made from 1000 denier Cordora, has a shoulder mounted flashlight holder, stowable hood, multiple innovative pockets, a zip in fleece lined that also has multiple pockets and a drag handle between the shoulders in case you are on mission and you are injured.
Perhaps the best tactical jacket on the market, price: approx $600.

bought the 5.11 tactical Parka jacket back in 2010 and I still have it and wear it up to this day. Amazing jacket and super functional.
I just wanted to gain inspiration for buying a new jacket, now I just need some more knifes and a gun and I’m ready for school.

Still wearing my old M65 army field jacket with liner in BDU cammo. It's been 40 years since I was in the army and still the best outdoor/tactical jacket. Keeps me warm, has a hidden hood. Only defect is it wasn't made with Goretex so it is not water resistent. I have to spray it with silicone to be somewhat water repellant.
Im still rocking my old M-65, time to upgrade!

What is tactical about the tourist or hiker jacket? The Velcro patch? The end was the best, never the less short example of real tactical jacket. (UF PRO ACE). When you need to carry heavy bag on your back, it's great to have something to help with distribution of weight and the fabrics chosen are brilliant. I love it

Nice and tacticool jackets for any proper mall ninja
The soft-shells are great jackets. I have 2 condor's and 1 rothco(camo). Only problem with softshells is they belong in a safe enviornment. If you are around campfires, burning buildings, hot brass or you smoke, they are very susceptible to melting from embers, cigarette ash and hot brass. They are water resistant. My winter range trips I'd throw one over a heavy sweater. They are not wind proof. I dont like how they absord body oils around the neck, and can look kinda funky after a day or two. After about ten years the take-up tabs on the cuffs have seperated. Other than that wash then line dry or spin on low/med. Just be careful that the lower take-up cords dont pull out your tactical folders. ALso they all run small. The rothco has a 3x which is a little more belly room.

It's ok and it is less costly than some other brands but in my experience, it could be better. One annoying thing is the double zipper which is intended for quick access to your sidearm but often gets in the way of easy use. The other issue is the hook-and-loop straps around the cuff are already worn out from only a year of relatively light use. It's a good jacket in terms of warmth and it is pretty reliable otherwise.

Tasmanian Tiger Trooper. That company, makes the best Tactical backpacks in Europe. Actually, I like them more than US made ones. Late response, but keep my advice, I spent way to much money, to find out that perfect mix, of comfort regidety and reliability. TT is the only brand, that has it all. I also like Maxpedition but they don't have the comfort, that the TT have!

Well there’s a reason, it is called tactical wear notgold weather survival, I can see why they are not super heavy with respect yo extreme Gould weather. Look at Helly Hansen, not tactical but being from Norway, you can’t go wrong for rain, snow and gold protection!

Since there wasn´t an order we can understand it as _"These are the best 10 Jackets of 2019."_ As in all of them. I can tell you from experience that UFPro, a German military company. Makes awesome fucking stuff. I got pants and jackets from them. Can´t really go wrong with them. Jackets do cost between 120 - 400+ Euros though. *(Quality)* Check out their website and look what fits your needs the best.

My idea of a tactical jacket is one that doesn't look like a tactical jacket.
I mean seriously WTH?
All that velcro on the sides of these jackets? Nobody outside of law enforcement is going to use them.
The side pockets advertised big enough for ammo magazines? Sure lets weigh the jacket down and make it obvious you are carrying.
Slots for cable run throughs for radios? Whose going to be carrying a 5 lbs radio in a tactical situation where you aren't in uniform and thus won't use the jacket. We live in the age of blu tooth. This kind of feature simply shouldn't be needed.
