The fucking worst one for this is that app that claims to convert selfies into high definition cartoons. 1mymm I refer to them as pails. Partly because they are called pails where I live and also because my company is called “--pail” as a play on words. However I have a too tempered of an understanding of the varieties of English vernacular to give you a direct answer.
Pail sounds cooler than bucket tbh

One time, my family was on a vacation, and my Dad was driving. We were in Virginia at the time, on a large road that wasn't near anything. There were no nearby houses or buildings. And a speed limit sign reads 55 mph, so like any reasonable person, my father drives at the posted speed limit. Around a turn off of a traffic circle, a speed limit sign says 35 MPH, and a cop is waiting there, ready to give us the $200 speeding ticket.
Cops are part of the shitty capital system. Their job depends on arresting and charging and stealing from (civil forfeture) an exponential amount of law breakers. So they turn going under and over the speed limit into a crime. Vagrancy is a crime. Loitering is a crime. Jaywalking is a crime. And if the city dosnt make more crosswalks youre shit out of luck. Everybody becomes a criminal.
Thats illegal and you can sue the city but of course to do that you have to stay in town past your vacation. Its a pretty good racket.
They started doing that in my town. This really steep hill is 30 mph but, even without your foot on the gas, your car cannot go under 30 and still go over the hill. Both of my parents have gotten tickets bc some dbag decided to sit his patrol car at the tip of the hill and ticket everyone.
Even though it is *LEGITIMATELY IMPOSSIBLE*
funny enough there's one such intersection near where I live and i was doing like 40 on the 30 side to make the light and there was a cop car parked a few streets down on the 25 side...
then i saw the flat tire. it was left there.
Zoie B not sure what you are trying to say but I don’t think you understand the physics of a car going over a hill. Any car should be able to generate enough torque to go over any paved hill at any speed.
The “titanium” ring one would be really bad for people like me who are allergic to stainless steel. It’s not deadly but it would be money wasted
is it like contact dermatitis?
I'm allergic to all metals (as far as I know) except titanium and niobium, so I would be really annoyed by this as well. Not a threat to my overall health, but I would have to give it away or throw it out.
You can be allergic to metal? The more you know
@@pretzeldragon2975 you can be allergic to just about anything. You'd be surprised the allergies people develop
My sister in law is allergic to feathers. She once bought a “faux feather” pillow and she had an allergic reaction. Amazon gave her her money back and the listing was taken down. It did take a while though. If this ever happens to you PLEASE contact Amazon, had she been deadly allergic to them it could have killed her while she was pregnant.
Hello there? Is this Mr. Irs? I'm calling to get my free arrested pls.
This made me remember the time when I was a kid & literally begged my mom to spend money on NEOPETS. That bastard was SO hungry ALL the time & was unbelievably picky. It was around $2, but I sometimes regret it to this day. No one should have to pay money just to feed some little cretin from a FREE game.
a bit later in internet browser games for me, but i still feel so bad for making my mother pay for club penguin, animal jam, moshi monsters, webkinz, and so many others 😭
You think that’s bad?
A month after my Dad died of cancer we got a letter in the mail CONFIRMING that he won the $10,000 a week for life!
All he had to do was sign his name, notify his bank, and then mail the letter back.
Needless to say I think you all know how my Mom felt about that.

That's terrible but ironic. Rest in peace.

Once on eBay, there was a listing for a product I wanted that cost $150.00 and some prick was selling his for $1.00 and charging $150.00 for the shipping.
I used to see that on eBay like literally constantly. I don't know if its not common anymore, hopefully they cracked down on sellers doing that. But I know there was a time, maybe over 10 years ago, when that sort of thing was ubiquitous.
MrGoat It was about 3 years ago
It happens all the time with sites like Wish, too. I refuse to use them because of it.
Sellers used to do that because ebay didn't charge fees on postage charges back in the day. So, to get around paying fees sellers listed items for a small amount and then charged the actual price as 'shipping'. Ebay stopped sellers doing that years ago now.
@@revivedfears It's kind of still being done

The Facebook one really gets me. Had my account hacked by a bot a few years ago (before the leak that they sold personal info) and they locked it. When they hit me with that "send personal ID" option I couldn't stop laughing. I love his John Mulaney references. Also I live in the town adjacent to the US falls with the "NIAGARA FALLS INFORMATION" sign and it's in the town of Niagara falls. You do have to pass the exit to get to where that sign is, but it's only like four or five miles from where the park starts. There is a Niagara Falls information center in my town too but ever since they built the I-190 it's been abandoned since tourists don't go down the town roads anymore. It's accompanied by what were once really nice motels that have been abandoned with time. Oh and a tim hortons, it's next to the tim hortons
