- Jeff and Shaunti Feldhahn have been researching men/women relationships for decades, but admit that they’ve never addressed financial issues in marriage because it was a topic they personally never discussed in their relationship. This lack of financial communication is common for 77-percent of married couples, which can lead to tension, assumptions, hard-feelings and conflict in marriage. The Feldhahns urge married couples to TALK about their money on a regular basis in order to establish common values, overcome “money fears,” avoid knee-jerk reactions, and build unity in their relationship.

Communicating about money is so important and something it took us a few years to get comfortable about.
Most people can't get past the "high" of buying something. Once you come to that watershed moment of knowing that stuff won't fill your soul, handling money gets a lot easier.
I never have issues in talking about money with my partner . I let him know the spending and future spending so that he is well aware to cut down his monthly spending and vice versa.
Thank you

Our pastor recommended during our premarital counseling to watch some Dave Ramsey videos, and that was life changing. Budget. Budget. Budget.
