    A few years ago, the stocking program must've had quite a few select fatties in excess to throw into PennyPack creek in Philly. I thought I'd foul hooked a carp until it surfaced. Then I thought it was just one of the trophies, but after the 4th one I knew I was just in the right place at the right time. Great video.👍

    I have fished that section of the creek multiple times great little section. There’s a small creek just a mile or two from there that has some natives in a very small creek. Very cool to see other people fish this creek🤙 great work guys

    Hey I saw your spring creek video. I’ve been wanting to fish there. Do yk of any spots that are accessible to the public. I’m from New York so I don’t get down there a lot to know these things.

    • @alleghenynative
      @alleghenynative  Před 6 lety +1

      Waterfowlers Of America majority of spring creek is public to fishing! Places to look are the fishermans paradise area or benner springs. Lots of other great areas though!

    good video! better off to not pusha nd pull the fish to "revive" it. just hold it in water gently until it takes off. very bad for fish gills to do that

      Zack Miller BMX ... Yeah man Pine Creek area is well stocked & beautiful water. Several trophy trout sections of Pines feeder streams. My favorite is floating Little Pine upper end all the way to Big Pine. Lots of holes that don’t get fished, plenty of feed/bugs to match, very little pressure. And plenty of hold-overs.

    You don’t have to move the fish back and forth like at 5:34 just gently support the fish, face them upstream and they’ll swim off when ready.

    Do you believe in feeding windows when it comes to fishing for trout? Early morning, evening etc? I'm from Vermont and I've been told many different theory's.
    Just curious on your input. Thank you!

    • @alleghenynative
      @alleghenynative  Před 6 lety +2

      That's a good question/topic. We've definitely experienced days where the trout were feeding like crazy first thing in the morning and then just shut off. But we've also had plenty of days where we catch them all day long. We have learned the weather has more affect on them than anything and have our best days on cloudy, overcast rainy days.
