Thank you! You know, in the pamphlet, it never shows you how to dismantle the top part. I have had mine for a year, and was so grateful to see that those two levers are there to make it so the sides can came down! For some reason I couldn't figure it out on my own. Never knew...til now! Yes, it might get bad if you mix in one bottle but if you add half part water it will not be as strong.

I think its easy with no filter and if you have expirence with other humidifiers, they are harder to clean inside
