Be interesting to hear Huberman talk specifically on what happens to guys when they come off steroids, whether legal TRT or not. Especially wonder about what will happen to our military if we ever have a real war/extended conflict where our guys (specifically SF type) may not be able to get a resupply etc. Short of pellets be used, would we end up with a bunch of SF dudes out acting like 12 year old girls when they run out of TRT and their nuts don't work?
Often fluid retention associated with steroid use is due to high amounts of aldosterone by the stimulation of the Renin angiotensin aldosterone system not estrogen( could also be estrogen ofcourse with higher doses of testosterone but a lot of times is aldosterone and sodium retention)

Here in Brazil most of the peoiple who are on hormones say it because itś not morally wrong anymore and it's not illegal to use (it is to sell). I'm totally pro this behavior because the worst thing someone can do in this communities is to sell the illusion that you can look not natural being natural. Although it seems that in US it's still a taboo. I don't know if it is because it's illegal to use or something.
The problem is that when you are honest about your PED use, dumb people will say its only because PED use... I can understand why some people hide it.

This stuff is fascinating to me. I would prob never take this random chemical stuff but maybe if I had a Dr. that knows his shit and could tell me what to take or not and the pros/cons. I mean for the average person it's not like we're trying to go pro so why not? It's almost in the same realm as nootropics where there is just a bunch of random shit out there that may or may not help or fuck you up and it's hard to get a solid answer on what works or not.

I’m 260lbs I’d never walk around saying I’m natty & if it’s true the NBA will allow 200mg a week after injury I’m laughing my ass off you have no clue what that does for you. There’s a reason bodybuilders get a dark ass tan before a show. Having darker skin is like walking around in perfect lighting year round. Thats all there is to it. Sure there’s some people who are more inclined to strength and others more towards endurance intelligence good looks etc but that depends on genetics not your skin color

On the topic of peds. Sam bankman fried was addicted to Selegiline/emsam amphetamine. Jordan Peterson was addicted to Benzodiazepines (Xanax). Joe Rogan takes trt and pharmaceutical peptides. Dave Asprey had a modafinil addiction which is called the real NZT-48 limitless pill. Lance Armstrong was doping with EPO (Erythropoietin) and testosterone. The point that I'm making here is non of these guys were body builders but all of them take/took performance enhancing drugs. The truth is you don't know if ppl r taking peds without seeing their blood work. U two could b and we wouldn't know.
