If you dig out a basement under your floor footprint and put your work bench / forge up-grades down there. Then cover the basement with your flooring. This will hide the bulker up-grades and still be close to enough to work. This way they don't need to be placed out side or in odd spots. Give it a try !!! it works great.... Keep up the fantastic work Sir.

    I think you could make a little cabin that could be "easily" and accessible built in every new place you got to explore in order to just store loot, get the rested buff and fix your stuff without needing to travel back to your base many times to get resources or changing servers to grab metals and stuff like that. Like "hey, got to this new forest/swamp/mountain/plains and need a little base where I can fix my stuff and store some things without needing to go back to my base to clear my inventory/repair equips, but don't need to create new stuff here". Adding all the costs of materials would also be a nice touch. I'll do my own version of this tomorrow, but would be nice to see one from you.

      Honestly a shift-click or something where you can make the pickaxe only do the layer you are on, instead of wiping out the upper areas, would be great, but then they would have to code structural integrity for the ground as well to make you have to place supports or it will collapse on you, and that’s honestly probably much more work than it seems up front, but would be fantastic if they ever got around to it.

      F5 type devcommands

    • @13vatra
      @13vatra Před 3 lety +1

      First you need to go to Steam and open the properties to Valheim and type " -console " in the launch options bar. F5 won't work automatically after the latest update, now you have to enable console commands in Steam beforehand.

    • @DaemonRayge
      @DaemonRayge Před 3 lety

      Aim your camera and press E.

    • @Revenant483
      @Revenant483 Před 3 lety

      You don't actually have to be on top of the bed to use it. If you press the activate key wile looking at the bed when you are close to the bed, the laying on the bed animation pulls your character up onto it.

    • @Kaileris
      @Kaileris Před 3 lety

      Let's see you guys aim your camera and E on your real life beds when it gets shoved 2 meters high from the ground into the ceiling with not even a meter from the ceiling. I don't think anyone will be able to get on in the first place, and it'll definitely be -10 comfort.

    • @Firespark81
      @Firespark81  Před 3 lety

      If you build it right there is enough clearing that you can stand up and walk off the bed without being stuck in the roof. Also as others have stated just look at it and hit E.

  • @brycefelperin
    @brycefelperin Před 3 lety

    I'd skip the brazier and just go with an external fireplace. That way you won't have to haul a chain and brass around with you to make one on site, and you can use local materials (wood and stone) to make your fire instead.

    • @tehchizad
      @tehchizad Před 3 lety +2
