A LITTLE girl born without a nose due to an ultra-rare genetic condition is due to have a brand new, 3D-printed nose implant fitted. Tessa Evans, 8, from County Derry, N. Ireland, is one of only 100 people in the world with Bosma arhinia microphthalmia (BAM) syndrome. When she was two, Tessa was the first person in the world to have a nasal implant made using 3D technology. At age four a larger nasal implant was fitted, but that subsequently had to be removed after becoming infected. Now Tessa’s medical team, led by Dr Juling Ong, at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, are planning to insert a new implant next year and young Tessa can’t help but be thrilled at the thought of finally having a nose. She said: “I can’t wait for my new nose, it’s going to make me really happy.”

Right! People who say they want a smaller nose, bigger whatever, longer hair, smaller feet, they should be grateful for their insecurities. Some people have no feet, this girl has no nose, some people can't grow hair at all.
I'm insecure about some things but some of them went away since I realized how blessed I was to be alive and be born with no disabilities (and before you guys come at me I'm not saying there's something wrong with having a disability). Just remember that the things you're insecure about someone out there wishes they had it.
Same with skin you got people doing crazy tattoos for attention or tanning. some people dont have high respect gor their bodies.

I once met a couple of parents that had a deaf daughter. I was shocked to learn that they didn’t speak sign language! They seemed not to care about communicating with her. Made me so sad.

I'm so disappointed to myself on hating my own imperfections, while there's some people don't have what I have and I didn't realize subconsciously. This girl is far something beyond beautiful, I hope her for healthy and better life. Thank you for giving such an inspiring existence.
Just realizing this is already great. You'd have no idea how many people complain daily about very trivial things, and if you try to remind them that people around the world suffer much more, they would then get even more upset because you try to steer the topic away from their egos.
I have BDD and she doesn't, so I don't feel bad at all.
I love how the parents teach her she looks beautiful without a nose and with a nose because (not that she's insecure about not having a nose but still) when you're insecure about a certain feature and want to change it you have to love yourself WITH that insecurity before you can love yourself without it. Which is why you see a lot of human barbies they didn't love their insecurities before thus finding more problems

She's so precious. Gave me confidence too, attitude and outlook can really make or break you and I havent always been confident with my scar. I spent years being bullied and called "no nose" but she makes me thankful. I'm getting a new nose soon, I hope she does too because she deserves it more than me.

She's totally adorable. It's absolutely inspiring how all the kids in these channels with disabilities/deformities/health conditions are just as happy as any other kid and life their life to the fullest, regardless. It just puts simple things back into perspective.

Oh, she’s such a sweet and happy little girl, it breaks my heart that she’s too young to realise, yet, just how mean people can be. I hope her life will always be full of kind people who love her as much as her parents do, so she doesn’t have to lose her innocence.
Unfortunately, we all lose that innocence as we grow up. Life is hard and a struggle. There will always be obstacles and problems to overcome. Self love is the greatest thing she can do to counteract all the negatives in life.

Awww... What an absolute beauty she is!! With or without a nose!! She's such a positive young lady with everything she's most likely been through in her short life.. And I'm absolutely 100% certain that her being so outgoing with such a courageous attitude towards life has everything to do with how her parents raised/treated her (which was obviously no different then if they had a daughter burn with a nose which is exactly how it should have been)... That's very good parenting on their end... This is exactly how it should be done!!!!
