Great video and AMAZING railroad. I plan to add Blunami to my Largescale locomotives. (...I also see a conversion for my HO equipment in the future...) Your railroad has inspired me to start building a garden layout. Thank You!

    Simply great video... Thank you.
Just a little question.. For deadrail with blunami 4408, what kind of battery do you use ? Lipo 4 or 5S ?
Many thanks for this great video

There are a variety of batteries you can use. We do not sell any at this time, but we can make recommendations based on your model. Contact our Support Team for help with this: (970)259-0690 ext. 22 or support@soundtraxx.com

I realize this is a late comment but I’m using 5 4408 Blunamis with each unit running its own 6 cell 2200mAh Lipo battery. Cheers.

What did you use to get the bell movement? Thanks

Following! Was the added servo motor programed in with Blunami?

It was probably a motor and the bell cable works like side rods of the steam loco. The motor turns a wheel and the “cable” rod then goes out of the cab and moves the bell lever back and forth. Many of the Bachmann Large-Scale locos have moveable bells, so just use a small motor inside the cab roof. Takes some trial and error to get the right size of the wheel for the bell's motion.

Hello - This is the train in my back yard. My husband is the Engineer and I am the gardener. Here is more information in case people are curious.
The Umunhum Valley Railway (UVRy) was designed and built by the owners during the COVID-19 lock-down. The layout is a loop-to-loop single track main line. The train travels (much like a hummingbird would) through the jungle, past a volcano, a fern grotto, an alpine area, through a tunnel and past a water feature. There are many viewing points to enjoy the train and just sit peacefully in the garden.
Umumhum is an Ohlone Indian word and the name of a mountain that we can see from our street. The word “Umunhum,” means the “resting place of the hummingbird.” The hummingbird is an essential part of the garden and the railway experience. We removed 40 tons of dirt to redesign the backyard into a whimsical sensory garden featurings the UVRy and characters like Godzilla and Scooby Doo. The sensory garden is all about stimulating and engaging the five basic senses of sight, smell, sound, touch and taste. We hope it makes you smile.
During the 2023 NGRRC, we had over 250 people visit the garden railway from all over the United States, Canada, the UK, Thailand, and Switzerland.
