Mariah, nowadays obviously doesn't have the agility, range, fluidity ect. that she once did before in her prime due to nodules and over working but you can't deny the fact that she can still sing to some degree and can produce her own songs written by herself of perhaps co-written. She's already proven herself long ago in addition as well and it's amazing to see that some people don't understand that her career started since 1990 (probably even in the late 80's). Let's see if you can still sing as good as her once you reach 50 (if you even can sing).

One of the best live vocal performances of all time. I don't get the Mariah/Ariana comparison. They have similar vocal style. Thats it. Their voices sound nothing alike. Do people have ears? Mariah's runs are more intricate. She has a whisper register, whistle register. Ariana's is just REALLY GOOD falsetto. No other singer could perform as effortlessly such a difficult song. Truly a moment in history. I respect the F**K out of Mariah Carey.

Her belts during this era were impeccable. So resonate. It sounds like she's got natural reverb turned up to 100 it's insane how crisp and clear her natural voice was and all those notes at the end she was actually hitting a couple notes higher than the original version. No one like Mariah.

Contohnya lagu mariah carey yg my all versi live snl 1997, disitu mariah santai banget nada tingginya dan smooth husky voicenya dia. Sementara aku lihat penyanyi lain cover lagu my all kayak morisete, novita dewi, dll terkesan teriak teriak dan putus putus nafasnya. Memang mariah ini unik banget suaranya makanya aku suka suaraanya dia
