HOW TO DEAL WITH TV LICENSING HARASSMENT 2019 (The BBC's WORST NIGHTMARE)

  • The BBC will absolutely HATE this video; make no mistake about that! Their days are numbered and this video provides all of the info you need to put an end to their protection racket once and for all. Together we can make the BBC's worst nightmare come true. It's the least we can do to pay them back for the untold misery they have inflicted on the UK population since TV Licensing was first conceived of.
This video gives you the knowledge you need to successfully deal with BBC TV Licensing once and for all. The more people who follow the advice in this video, the sooner we can put an end to the BBC's extortion racket. Even if only one in every 10 of us cancelled our TV Licence today, the BBC would lose £400 million over the next 12 months. They would then have to start thinking about alternative ways to fund their propaganda machine. Extorting money from every household in the UK may have been acceptable in the days when the TV broadcasting infrastructure had to be put in place, but in today's world the licence fee is nothing more than legalised extortion. The licence fee rakes in £4 billion each year for the BBC, but where does all of this money go? ... a bunch of TV and radio channels and a website does not cost £4 billion per year. So you can bet that a large proportion of that money is finding its way into the pockets of some shady people at the BBC. The bottom line is this: No one in this country should be forced to buy something against their will, especially if they have no use for what they are being forced to buy.
It is so unfair for the BBC to hire commission-hungry salespeople at Capita, who use fear and high-pressure sales tactics to scare the public into parting with their money. The BBC like to call these salespeople "Enforcement Officers" and "Inspectors" and they impose targets that compel them to sell 28 TV Licences per week or face the sack. Imagine if the police operated in this way. The prisons would be full of innocent and vulnerable people. It is also unfair that TV Licence goons prey on the most vulnerable people. Imagine a non-TV Licence payer who lives in a mansion surrounded by a large perimeter fence and gates at the entrance that prevent anyone from getting anywhere near the property. A TV Licence goon wouldn't waste their time calling at such a property, as they know they wouldn't stand a chance of being able to even speak to the occupier, let alone scare them. It is far easier and more productive for the goon to prey on occupiers living in working class areas where there are many homes with front doors that are easily accessible. Therefore it makes perfect sense to simply not engage with any TV License goon. The worst they can do is knock on your door every couple of months. Eventually they'll give up calling altogether and go and prey on an easier target. As for TV Licence threat letters, well they can come in handy in the winter if you have a coal fire or log burner. Shredded TVL letters can also provide a more comfy home for all sorts of house pets. Or alternatively, making things out of papier-mâché can be an awesome way for people to express their creativity.
REMEMBER: Every single person who has ever been convicted for not buying a TV Licence, was convicted for one reason only - they accidentally answered their door to a TVL goon and didn't know what to say or do from there. Some victims even inadvertently provide the goon with grounds to obtain a search warrant. Don't be another victim of the BBC's intimidation, bullying and phoney search warrants. Save money instead by getting clued-up on TV Licensing. The answer to the BBC is LLF... along with silence and a closed door!

Had a visit today, more on that shortly... I’m legally license-free, and despite cancelling it properly, giving them all the info they requested, we immediately started to receive their threatening letters. But interestingly they were addressed to ‘ the occupier’ rather than to my name. Very sloppy of them. Anyway, because I despise the bbc and all it stands for, I simply bin the letters. Have done for three years now. We think we had one visit by a so-called enforcement officer, about 18 months ago. We didn’t as the door. His car was parked blocking the gateway to our track, and remained there for half an hour. Cheeky sod, I found that threatening.
Today. Vehicle drove up our track. He knocked on our door. Then proceeded to sit in his vehicle for about half an hour, although he did disappear for more than a few minutes... he emerged from the undergrowth, I suspect he’d left a crap.. I did a check on the vehicle reg, and it turns out it’s registered in Chelmsford, the home of Capita tv licensing enforcement...
so here we are, in lockdown, but these toe rags are still making visits. I’ve nothing to hide, but I refuse to cooperate with them. Roll on the demise of the bbc.

My Mother (in her 70's) kept getting harassed by the TVL goons year in, year out, but the house she lived in has never had a TV. They were calling round, asking her questions, wandering about in her house. She was getting worried sick by the persecution from these petty bureaucrats.
The only way it got solved was for her to lie to them, saying she DID have a TV, then claim the over 75 age exemption !
The whole licence thing is well past its sell-by date. No decent comedies or dramas are made anymore - they're just paying themselves massive salaries, and doing nothing to show for it.

This is my 14 year, no license. I couldn't possibly be funding the BBC, 'peadophile community.' If you live in a house, get some blinds and angle them, so you can see out, but they can't see in. @Roger Allison You've been at this a long time now haven't you Mr Roger? I love how you claim to know that not requiring a licence applies only to a very small proportion of people. You know, people are beginning to realise that TV is SHIT and that people are getting out and about enjoying life and not watching endless repeats, terrible soap operas, left wing 'comedy' and propaganda shoved down their throats. At the end of the day, i can see the BBC cronies not accepting this as they just want to milk you dry like the cattle they hope we all are.

No, I was only having a giggle at your post, little bit of humour as I 100% agree with you and yes, I fully understand.
I find that I seem to enjoy a little bit of conflict, but as I leaned to in my post, I have had many many balifs and many more letters and threats about the person who lived in this house some time before my family moved in, and that has simply got on my nerves, because I have spend hundreds and hhundreds of pounds proving I am NOT the person, and then one day I just flipped and now I write very strongly worded letters, or rather I have written one and I just print out loads of copies telling these companies to F Off and worse, because Im done with them.
I did have one time, when I moved in and we were with scottich power at out old house and changed to it here, but British Gas was supplying it when we moved in, or, as we were moving and as such, I had 3 days supplied by British Gas and they had got balif onto us to pay, and what had happened is that once they got my name, it was a threat to me and another to the occupier and I sorted it out with british gas straight away - I only owed £2.68 - as I said, it was 3 days worth, and that was only putting the kettle on a few times as we were moving and still lived in our old house, but they had the balifs involved and we had sorted it out for the occupier but not with my name, and these balifs got really heavy, and I was just pushing it.. I realised the error but they did not. The bills and the charged went up to £880 - all from originally owing £2.68 and so we went all teh way to court and when I went, I took my paperwork that showed that I owed this £2.68 and that I had paid it.
For a bit more clarity, it was originally that the house was empty and at first, I had to prove that I only moved in, on Feb17 but there was money owing from the previous year and so, I was not going to pay for their bill, and when british gas had the proof, they were happy that I only owed the 3 days worth and they had it at £2.68 instead of something like £170 ( And that was from an empty house? )
Anyway, it was hilarious in court because the judge went absolutely balistic on the balifs for wasting time on not just a £2.68 bill, but also for not getting the fact that I had already paid the bill anyway.
As I said, they have me as the occupier and as my real name, so they thought it was 2 accounts.
They obviously though that I would have to pay the bill, plus any court costs etc.
      --
I do have a parking ticket as well that I am being a fanny with. It was outside the cinema and I have a blue badge, but what I must have done, is set the timer, and when I threw it onto my dash, it must have folded over and not show the time or the badge, however, they know that I am disabled as I am there at least 2 times a week... I have had 3 letters from 3 different balifs, each getting more threatening but Im just ignoring them all... I am not going to pay a penny.
I have not heard from them in about 3 months now and I think its over, but Im keeping the letters and the thing is, that even though the original fine was £100, its now up to £320 and I might get fed up and tell them to either take me to court, and if not, then I will take them for harrassment.
I am disabled and even if it does go to court, ( it wont ) but if it does, then I will only have to pay the original fine of £100 and I will, because I am disabled and not working, ask to pay a fiver a month as I cannot afford to pay more.
They will lose out on a lot more money than I will. They know it and I know it.
Why am I telling you this?
      Ah well.

    Three points .
I do not have a TV set , or any other kind of receiving apparatus in my home , so if it gets rid of them once and for all I am happy to let them come in , as a courtesy, to see for themselves ; such an inspection would be recorded for my own purposes .
Secondly , I do have a few devices : computers , laptops , smartphones which could potentially be used to access BBC over the Internet, but they are not , EXCEPT where I use such devices for test purposes at work , where premises ARE covered by TVL .
Finally , what legal competence does HMG or BBC to police the reception of TV broadcasts which originate outside the UK and do not use any UK infrastructure? I used to watch foreign broadcasts to keep up my language skills , but HMG/BBC presume to dictate that I should not do this . Foreign TV broadcasters are no more funded by UK government than foreign radio stations , and should not be subject to any regulation by UK agencies .

    • @Phoenix2312
      @Phoenix2312 Před 9 měsíci

You are 100% SPOT ON... Especially on that FINAL point!
HMG allows this to happen as the License Fee Charter is Totally out of step with Modern Society! We have to remember that it was written when we only had UK TV and 2 Actual Channels... It has NEVER been adjusted to account for the changes in society....
So ANY LIVE TV BROADCAST no matter where it comes from in the world that can be viewed or received to view on a UK TV Set is subject to the TV license for the purposes thereof... Quite frankly, HMG just hasn't bothered dealing with it.... And the BBC they LOVE IT as it means they can charge people for nearly anything - Including Content they have already paid for!
OH IT TOOK ME MONTHS TO GET A DEFINITIVE ANSWER ON THIS ONE... The BBC WONT ACTUALLY ADMIT THIS....
If you use a "PAY PER VIEW" Service to watch a LIVE Sports Event... You have already paid to watch so that should be it... BUT NO! As it is a LIVE BROADCAST for the purposes of entertainment and provided it comes from what the BBC loosely deem as an "Official Broadcast Network" - YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM TOO!
What is an "Official Broadcast Network"? Good Question - Even the BBC cannot decide... CZcams and Twitch in effect do not count - UNLESS, And yes there is an UNLESS... It is hosting a Pay Per View Event such as Creator Clash... It is the Event that makes it "Broadcast Television" for the purposes of the law... Even though neither Twitch nor CZcams can be classed as Broadcast TV networks...
And yes, That also means you pay to watch lets say WWE SURVIVOR SERIES... WWE Network is a recognised TV Broadcaster - So The TV license applies! Even though YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID!
What about Soccer / Football teams own Personal Channels? Man United TV for example... Yup! They are classed as TV network Broadcasters too!
And yet the BBC does not actually have a definitive list... So, In all honesty... The BBC could charge you for simply having a TV showing a BLACK SCREEN as They are unwilling or unable to actually define what a Network TV Broadcast actually is for the purposes of law...
And The Government, Well - They don't really give a S**t!

When you receive the TV licence letter, slice the envelope at the side with a sharp knife, take out the document inside and place it back in the envelope with the address facing away from the clear window on the envelope and the reseal it with clear tape. Then write on the envelope "return to sender" and pop it back in the post. Now the TV licencing people will have to pay the postage fine because, obviously, you will have conveniently neglected to attach a stamp to the letter. Keep doing this and see how long they keep sending you letters. 😊👍🏼

There was nothing else for them to do seeing as the "detection" apparatus on the roof was completely fake, the idea of this ruse was to scare people in the neighbourhood to pay up. Its a tactic I don't think they use anymore seeing as it's complete nonsense. TV detector van, utter bullshit.

The most important thing is NOT to give them your name or sign anything on the doorstep. If your address has not got a TV license they WILL visit you to try and get your name and signature so they can process you through the Magistrates court and get you fined. They use tricks to try and get you to admit you have a TV like pretending they're from somewhere else. The court will fine you more every time you are caught with no license and when the fines are not payed you go to prison. I worked for the Magistrates court for a very long time as a warrant officer and heard story after story what these tossers do to trick people.

      @combrogi Před 5 lety +6

Keith Denny hi mate the only people that can smash your door is the police if they know you are in there. I never had a license but never opened the door to anyone I didn't know (I had a camera) but it can be a pain in the arse doing that. If they catch you at the door and ask for you by name or the home owner just say sorry he's out at the moment I'm doing some work for him and can't help you sorry, then close the door. They're very crafty and sometimes call in the evening when it's easier to see if a tv is on. Best is not to engage them or answer or sign anything. The letters are designed to scare you. One thing I'm surprised more people don't do when caught on the doorstep is give a false name and dob. That way the information sent to the Magistrates court is under the wrong details and when the fine is produced and the fines warrant eventually gets issued it can't be served as it's in a made up name. I only had that a couple of times and as a warrants officer could only return the warrant to be written off. At the end of the day they can only fine you and the Magistrates court will bend over backwards to help you clear the fine rather than put you in prison.
