That 1200 watt taramps at 2 ohm with factory electrical is gonna do around 4 maybe 500 watts. Should have spent couple more bucks and got the smart 3 k which still puts out 3k at 2 ohm.
If I knew he was bringing more subs I would have did the 3k.
Im not a huge fan of taramps but More then likely the 4ch was rated at 100x4 at 2ohms so prob 50w at 4 x 4ch
The 800 I think is 100x4 at 4ohms 100w is more then enough for most mids and highs just a fwi I kno you kno what your doing but also said your still learning have a good one brother
Late comment. Did you run that DS-440x4 at a 2 or 4-ohm load? I have that DS 440x4 amp, which hasn't been connected, to use on my four dash speakers (two -3.5" & two 4") and a pair of (6x9) for the rear deck. Dash speakers are 4-ohm wired for a 2-ohm load at the amp and the rear deck are 2-ohm speakers. I also figured 110 watts RMS should be enough.
