  • The GoXLR Mini is half the size and almost half the cost of the original GoXLR. What features are different? Does it sound as good? Is it worth the $250 price tag? All of those questions are answered in this video!

Another thing that could be done for streamers with a dual-pc setup is to actually buy two of the GoXLR (original or mini or mixed). Have the line-ins and line-outs feed into each other, and use either one respectively into each PC. This way you just have ultimate control of all sound within both PCs.
    For Example:
Gaming PC - Game Audio // Line In (streaming pc) // Voice Chat // Mic Volume
Streaming PC - Desktop Audio // Music // Alerts // Mic Volume (for secondary mic)
The mini could actually be an upgrade path for those who already own the original GoXLR, and want even more control without making things too difficult. I think that's the beauty behind these products.

I'd love to see an actual 8 channel GoXLR with 100% customizable channels and motorized faders and two Microphone Inputs. Also i'd like to have the feature of fading the channels i'm muting instead of muting them instantly. It should be no problem, with motorized faders in the first place. I'm perfectly aware, that this would be hellish expensive, but this would be everything, ANY streamer could ever dream of.

Elgato needs to make a competitor here, neither of the GoXLR's or the Rodecasters offer what Elgato can bring to the table, which is exactly what the other companies offer but with: customization
The ability to have a small touchscreen displaying whatever you want above dials or faders is what we need. Elgato will bring one to the table and it will be the best, only a matter of time

DO you recommend this - you can not only use USB microphones like this (Blue Yeti) but then you have the option to additionally over time get an XLR microphone and plug it in this bad boy. The GoXLR Mini is $429AUD here. I just bought an Elgato Keylight for my Logitech C920 - in the future hopefully a Sony a5100 Mirrorless however it's $500+. Also need a new second monitor (mainly looking for a portrait panel but don't mind) and my chair is scuffed. Could also replace my current fans and upgrade from 1st gen ryzen and upgrade storage. Temptations..

please can anyone answer some questions I have on the mini please:
even tho they removed the buttons, can you still add effects and hard tune on the mini with the software?
and do the settings you change on the software get stored on the device until you change them again?
and finally does it have phantom power to power a 48v mic?
    thank you

You might have already gotten the info you needed, but yes you can adjust effects in the software. It also does keep the changes. I am not sure about the 48v Mic. Another thing you should know is that the company that makes the GoXLR has canceled support for the device.

Shouldn't you be able to capture the USB mic feed from the system, same as you do with Spotify, Discord or other software sources?

is it true that the Go XLR mini does NOT have the De-Esser? This is the deciding factor for me. I really want my audio/mixing to be all in one place.
