I feel you. I hate that 9-Ball is the most popular one, i love 8-Ball and Straight Pool much more, the skill makes a much bigger Difference
Someways i agree with the commentator..especially in 8 balls you need to think fast analyzing the balls. When you get down shooting you cant have split "what if what if" mindset causing you missing shots even with easy balls

8-ball should never be played on a 9ft. It's the congestion that makes it tough.
most of 10ft table model is ugly af, not tv's material
Spoken like a true barbox warrior. Compare the stats to any 9 foot 8ball tournament to those from a barbox 8ball tournament. The total number of balls made on the break and total number of runouts are WAY higher on barboxs and the shots are much easier on the kiddie table. Ask any top level pro and they'll tell you it's embarrassing for them to play on a barbox. Because pool pays out so crappy, they're forced to lower their standards occasionally.

@@justsomeguy6474 No, it's correct. Look it up or ask any pro who's competed on both. Even APA 4s can deal with congestion on a 7 footer.

Not happy with commentator. Get a new job or new attitude. A"Comment"tater ...but belittling startup players is pretty stupid. Calling out the difference between pro play & "poolhall slouches". If you play, youve most likely been a "slouch" yourself. Respect where you come from

Question to anyone that knows….why is the a men’s and women’s pool competition? what advantages does one sex have over the other when playing pool?
None at all. Guys are better than gals in pretty much every sport in general. If there was a mixed tour in all sports the gals wouldn't be able to compete. I suppose the exception is the knitting and sowing championships, where the slender fingers may favour the ladies.
There is literally a girl playing in this tournament LOL this is not an only male nor female sport. Both play together all the time.
There is a huge advantage for the men. how many women do you see on the Moscone teams? ZERO
