Is the Cybertruck actually a van in disguise? The answer is a yes! At least if a van could only fit three toddlers... TESLA MAKE A MINIVAN! Pretty sick right now, so pardon the shorter video!
I mean (if they arent planning it already) tesla should just take the CT platform and add a back with seats. The hard engineering is done already, i think people would flock to a 7 seat CT. We'll see.
No crumble zone to maximise injury, first cybertruck crash injured its driver while a cheap compact's driver that the cybertruck hit walked away unhurt, illegal in Europe due to being unsafe, needed to utilise a special excemption for boxtrucks to not be banned in the US.....
Tesla’s are unsafe because when one of the drive unit inverters fail, it blows the pyro fuse and all power is lost immediately. Extremely dangerous. Imagine the CT dying in the middle of a busy freeway at night loaded with your kids just waiting to die when an 18 wheeler hits you.
Thank you for posting this, I was considering replacing our Y with a CT as the middle seat is basically unusable with just 2 car seats (Clek Fllo), was hoping to be able to actually fit a human in the middle between the seats and this video really helps! My only other concern is the vault, and if it is truly water proof so strollers and other gear dont get wet, out of spec's test had lots of water with just light rain vs your hose one so time will tell.
Cyber van was sliding doors. Once you experience sliding doors with kids, you never want anything but sliding doors. I'd be a little nervous with little ones shearing fingers off on the current design.
@@OurCyberLife all good. I wouldn't want to be out there in the rain either. Also, just for some ideas. I'd love to see Stroller fit test in the frunk/sub trunk. Maybe even under rear seat? Kid leg space, like if your seat is in normal position does the front facing kid have the ability to kick it? Lol my daughter always kicks my seat. Any other cool parent hax you guys may have started doing . Appreciate the content though. I still think you should make a CybertruckOwnersClub account and join the chats
3 spots with isofix is great, we tried this with my volvo xc40 and managed to push 3 seats in a very uncomfortable way. With my model y it is better but still not 3 isofix. Thx for sharing this!
You do realise that it apparently lacks ISOFIX fittings that have been obligatory by law since 2008 and that you will find in any cheap car, even my previous 1200 quid 2009 Ford Fiesta? Not to mention the lack of a crumble zone which means that all the force of a collission is transfered into injuring your children rather than bits of the car. 1st cybertruck crash involved the driver being injured, while the cheap compact he hit, its driver was okay. As for the EuroNCAP score that shows the safety of the cybertruck.... Oh wait there is none. It's apparently too dangerous to be road-legal in the EU and if Musk even submits one, pretty sure it'll be the first 0% score on pedestrian safety that we're going to see since roughly 1960.
Hey there! Great to see that threee across fit pretty well. Since the bottom anchors are only good for up to 40pounds, I’m curious about the forward facing clamps behind the headrests in the back for all three? We use the seat belt to secure the car seats for our toddlers and then use the upper clamp behind the headrests. Thank you!! 😊
Kind of off topic, but do both rear passenger doors open up 90 degrees? I’m asking because the Cybertruck that “Out of Spec” is reviewing, found that only one rear passenger door opened 90 degrees. He thinks that it was a mistake and they put front door hinges on one of the rear passenger doors. Thanks!
When the tonneay of cybertruck is covered, is it dark for those sitting in the back seats since the cover blocks the light from the rear window? And the glass above is tintet blue.
@@OurCyberLife No, you didn't understand. I didn't mean that it blocks the rear view mirror, I know that it has a camera. I was thinking about Does it get too dark for the people sitting in the back, like they are in a dark room? Especially if a rear-facing child seat is installed. Will the child sit in the dark?
I'm guessing by the time we get ours, we will no longer need to use kid car seats(our youngest grandchild just started using a booster seat) altho my dog loves riding in car seats! she will jump into any car she sees with one - free abandoned frenchfrys and cheerio clean up
They've gotten much better, as shown by the middle one verses the two on the sides! We definitely install them properly, but this was just a for a quick video
Wait, meaning that for a 'car' that costs such a ridiculous amount of money, there's not even ISOFIX (obligatory by law since 2008) to safely put a kid's seat to, but you're expected to fiddle around with seatbelts like it's a € 500 second hand Corsa? 😆 So it's not just deadly to pedestrians and cyclists, unsafe for the occupants, looks like it won't even pass EuroNCAP, but the cybertruck uses a child safety system that's been outdated for over 20 years, that even my previous 2009 Fiesta surpassed. I'll never understand Tesla buyers.....

Yeah just do something like the rivian r1s
It is the best TRUCK ever. And safest for families :) spacious back seats for leg room :)

Yay for the gimbal and wireless mics!
great real life content! Love seeing it! Thank you!
I love how your real world problems relate to mine. I bought a car seat and had 30 minutes to install it and was forced to look it up on CZcams.
The new models aren't too bad, but that old one was a doozy! lol
I see your wideo quality/editing improved. Keep it up guys.

Nice to see, thank you! Looks like the back doors opening 90° is a big help here.
Yeah! Should make transporting large bulky things like TVs really easy!
If you guys revisit this. Can you please try a full size human in the center befween two carseats?
Yes! Can fit easily, we'll make a follow up video. Sorry, rain cut this video short haha

@@OurCyberLife Can you show us how far back the front seats can go with the car seats installed?
It’s too bad they canceled the six seater configuration. Would have been nice to have that extra versatility

Short and sweet. Perfect. 👍

On looks alone, Cybertruck definitely looks like it could vie for being the best family car.

This is Exactly what future CT owners need. Maybe this vehicle will replace the Model X.
I have 4 kids. I need the third row. Well, not as much now, since they are mostly adults, but there are still times when all 6 of us go places.
Finally I got to see the CT here in Toronto, Ontario Canada. But unfortunately we weren’t able to get inside yet.
Thanks so much for doing this! I have 3 Clek Fllos in my Model Y performance. It works but it isnt great.
Utility, FTW... We, at times have 5 x 70lb dogs in the back, so we're glad for the lightnings slightly larger rear seat area.
Nice. I see your back drivers side passenger door opens 90 degrees unlike out of specs loaner.

Ahh, so that's what those are for!!! Our kids are still tiny, so haven't gotten to that yet 🤣 yes! 3 anchors above the headrests as well!

They definitely both open to 90 degrees!
I saw it done in another video for sure.
It's kinda unfortunate they abandoned the original 3 front seats.
Appreciate the less extreme blurring! That first video was a little much hahaha
Would love to see some towing performance videos

Yep, completely blocks the view. You have to rely on the back camera when you have the cover closed0

How is using the top tether on your forward face seat. I have two forward facing kids and one booster going in min. Top tethers are a pain in my ram.

Now let do 10k before February
So, what is the height from the ground to the bottom of the floor for all passengers at its lowest height? Asking for some short friends:)
Do they have top tether anchors for all seats?
Yes! They do!

Car seats are examples of the worst engineering of all time! 99% of them are never installed properly because they are such a pain in the ass!

It does have ISOFIX, just in the USA it's called LATCH.
Now, be careful with your thumbnails. Cybertruck is nowhere near to be a minivan.
