Lars explained to Sandy: The door inners are formed/stamped stainless and the form/die used is made with an aluminum bronze alloy to prevent drag marks.
Did he say 176,000 miles on his Model Y? He must drive for a living or travel all the time. It takes me 10 years to put 100k miles on my car 😅 That carbon fiber trim does look great and really goes well with the green! Glad some viewers got to see it in person.
Grt to see you smile everytime you are talking abt CT, would love to hv one but looks like its never coming to australia. Happy to see ur content though.
Kudos to you for letting folks get "hands on" with the CT! Im sure many Tesla owners clubs would sponsor a trip for a event should you be so inclined....
Can you post a video of driving a Cybertruck in a dense downtown area, with parking and so on? This is the worst environment for pickups, I am wondering if the Cybertruck will do better…
0:40 I noticed the antenna on top of the roof. Are you an ham radio / mobile operator? Do you run on the transceiver on 12V or 24V? Can you make a video showing your home and mobile station. 73!
The would have left the edges alone. I think it would look better with exposed SS edges. The wrap would adhere better without having going around a sharp corner.
WITH 2003 Y HUMMER ON 35" TIRES IN STARBUCKS DRIVE THROUGH, I'VE HIT CURB AND SCRAPED TIRES. SO WORRIED ABOUT BREAKING CYBER TRUCK TIRE HUB COVERS AT STARBUCKS.
It's shorter than the Ford F150. It's only a bit wider. Should be fine for North-American roads. Technically could work in Europe too but you'd just have to steer clear of old castle towns or narrow parking garages. But to be honest that was an issue with the Model X in Europe as well, the Tesla forum actually has a Google Sheets where you can add parking garages that the Model X doesn't fit into. The same would probably happen for the Cybertruck.
@@nielsvandenkieboom5034 "Technically could work in Europe too but you'd just have to steer clear of old castle towns or narrow parking garages. " Yes, i had GMC Van and Chevy Truck before. I've always staid clear of such tight spaces. But everything else was no problem at all. Including parking. First garage i have in mind that does not fit the CT, X or other such large vehicles is the Opengarage in Vienna. The Hoher Markt, The one behind the Stephansdom does not fit ANY Tesla. etc. pp. I would not drive into Perugia, Urbio, Siena, Vienna inner district - but then most of those places are forbidden for cars anyway.
It was awesome meeting you guys!!!
This guy is insufferable. A person only a mother would love
@@BahreEdred , I apologize for being insufferable, sorry. Thank you for doing your best to tolerate me. 🙏
@@UTECHPIAomg, how did you get there? Haha. I was just watching your channel with Dennis.
Likewise! And don't worry about the haters @UTECHPIA, there will always be haters 🤣
@@BahreEdred176k miles on the Model is impressive. Any issues that you can share?
Nice to meet ya, and thanks for letting us see your Cybertruck!
Great to meet you as well!!! Keep driving that Model 3 into the ground!!!

40k km per year = 7 years for me. Yes, 176k miles is much.
Scary vehicle to own outside of warranty. Maybe being a Tesla employee, he gets a new HV battery for half off.
@@JetFire9the battery will outlive the car. You have been bought and sold by the gas companies.
@@JetFire9 Yes, true, he needs at least one battery a month. 👍🤣😂You are hilarious! Thx for the laugh.
Yes, 176k miles!!! MODEL Y BEST EVAR!!!
Software engineer for the cell factory. Thank you for your service. 😁
The alloy that 1st guy was asking about is in the casting of the front and back. With the battery in the middle just like the Y made in Texas too.

1:39 - when the gentleman is mentioning bronze, I think he is referring to the coding on a particular large press within the factory.
Yes, phosphor bronze coating on the forming die for the inner door panel.
Awesome answering their question.
Thanks Ryan! Missed you commenting on this yesterday! 😉
By far the best truck on the planet! I would mount roof lights if i had one.

Great to see you sharing see you sharing. Let us know if you make it to the Northwest.
I enjoy the truck from everything I have seen. Hopefully I'll be able to afford it when my # comes up.
Loving the videos. Completely agree covers on for sure 👍🏻 👍🏻

Nice one....❤
Thanks 🤗!
Poor kid, that's the life of famous CZcams parents. 😅
Look at the cyber truck jacket 😮

What's the antenna or something on the Cybertruck roof?
is there an acceleration boost upgrade in your app by chance?

In the case of an argument between the CT and a curb, the CT will win....😂
Question for you: does it keep pulling hard after 60 mph or does it start to slow down like the model three does? Thank you.
Haven't gone much past 60 on my flooring tests, I'll have to test that sometime!
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
What brand was your wrap?
3M Pine Green!
Do you find its too long/big? parking, maneuvering in parking lots, etc. an issue?
