I've been in overly crowded public transport where NOBODY would sit in the empty seat next to me. Also, when out in public I've mostly been ignored by other citizens. I am sure most people would interpret that as a joke or a lie. This test was very poorly set up too as all participants were encouraged to find a date as fast as possible, which in turn encourages using the shallowest forms of judgement.
I would also like to point out that a sample size of 8 men for the men dating test and 8 women for the women dating test makes both tests statistically insignificant.

First mistake with this experiment is going to speed dating because those are people who are looking for little more depth and value and that is why they are still single because they are picky and know what they want.
