highkey I hope they buff blinkbolt to let you cancel it into left hand weapons as well, would be super cool to use with incantations for things like blinkbolt > frenzy grab
there's a sorcery that lets you teleport into that grab, but i like the idea of the ash doing the same

@@yikes6758 I agree with that, blinkbolt right now seems decent for a chase down or escape tool if used right, but little else but with your idea I see where it could have more potential. Maybe it takes after the long shaft axe where after the dash if you press L2 again you leap into the air and slam down with a delayed lightning follow up. Otherwise it continues to have the same function

Also, when you teleport it breaks lock on, so you mix up the opponent’s senses. I’m not an int build so I don’t have it but gonna pick it up on my Dex, Int character when I finish it

Blinkbolt isn't locked into a roll attack with the light followup. Also I think you act faster out of Blinkbolt than BHS, don't want to say that for certain though.
Also, little niche you can finish off low health people with Blinkbolt which is nice ig.

Blinkbolt didn't do much, you benefited the most from the moveset of the weapon itself.
Even for chase down, the damage is low af.
It's not meant for damage. It's like a command dash with I frames that puts you in someone's face, and doesn't force you to use a dodge attack like BHS
These are pretty good fights. Especially when you're fighting multiple people. But if you're in a 1 V 1 and you back off and heal, you gotta respect the fight and let the other guy heal too.

Idk i think I'll stick to flame strike and sword dance untill they do something about blinkbolt being really underwhelming, it looks cool but bloodhound step is just better.
@@TK_TK811 I think it’s unique enough, since blink bolt isn’t locked into a rolling attack like BHS is. Sword dance is goated though, I flip flop between that and blink bolt.

Should’ve had a follow up, I think giving lighter weapons the DKTA spinning follow-up and heavier weapons the DKLHA overhead strike follow-up, would’ve turned it into a top tier AoW.
That or just, making it come out faster and have less recovery time, to accommodate the lack of a proper follow-up. That would’ve helped

blinkbolt is the most useless ash of war ever made in the entire game , the dlc is good, but the 90% of ashes of war and incantations/spells are trash TIER
they spend two fucking years to do a dlc with their 90% of spells USELESS and trash tier
