On June 8, I took a day trip from New York to Los Angeles on Alaska Airlines new A321 in First Class. The great experience started in the lounge and lasted throughout the flight. Totally impressive job by them. Plus I lucked out by flying on their "More to Love" livery!

Alaska is one of the airlines where I genuinely feel good about the experience of traveling with them. They aren't as showy, but what they do they do extremely well. The other day I had to book a trip from LA to Nashville and I went out of my way to do the connection with Alaska.

Thanks for another great, informative video! I would love to see a Q&A video so we can learn more about the man behind the camera. Specific questions I'd like to hear responses to would be:
1.) Why do you fly so much? Are you visiting family, traveling for school, doing it for fun, or are there other reasons?
2.) How do you pay for all the flights? I'm sure you take advantage of rewards programs but it still seems like you would rack up a lot in airfare with all the flights you go on.
3.) What is your favorite airline?
4.) What is your favorite airplane?
5.) What is your ultimate goal/reason for this CZcams channel?

If I book an Alaska Airbus, the more to love A321 is the one to ride! And I liked your idea by them painting one of their Airbus to Virgin colors and making a throwback heritage plane!

Such great video!! I flew my mom today on Alaska First Class from FLL to SFO. It was between JetBlue and Alaska. I am glad i booked Alaska. Especially with the new A321 planes.
and again as in mentioned in another report, it’s nice to see that the curtain is used between first class and economy .unlike delta and others .

The "More to Love" livery is simply stunning.
All the music and fast forwarding isn't my thing when watching aviation vids. But thank you for sharing, I can tell you put a lot of time into your videos. That is a beautiful livery.
We flew first class from LAX-ANC and ANC-HNL. LAX-ANC: Red eye, seat recline ~10 degrees, no blanket/pillow/entertainment, tablet, sandwich for meal, free drinks including alcohol. ANC-HNL: Seat recline ~ 10 degrees, no pillow, had blanket/entertainment tablet. Ran out of food selection, FA told us we should've ordered online for our specific meal, only 12 seats in first class and they ran out of food, free alcohol drinks. An hour before landing in HNL my wife asked for hot tea and the FA stated that it's not available because she already turned off the hot water! Lounge: free alcohol, drinks and food available. I would recommend flying coach and bring your own food, much cheaper. It was the most uncomfortable first class I've ever flown! The seats were wide and comfortable but what's the use when you can't recline! Sleeping sitting up was very uncomfortable!
Cute puppy alert at 11:32. I flew Delta with my Rottie puppy inside the cabin and the crew were amazing to us. They were so attentive bringing her ice and water.

Yes you should make an Aeromexico trip report. I flew Aeromexico from Mexico City to Madrid round trip on a Dreamliner. Very smooth flight and good service too. Aeromexico flies Dreamliners to international destinations. Hope to see it soon. Thank you for your videos.

I’ve always found Alaska to be a very good airline. They do fly from my home here in Calgary, and I have flown with them many a time for soccer matches involving Toronto FC and some MLS Western Conference teams on the Pacific Coast.
Of course now I may be flying domestically much more, given the team I follow now is based out of Calgary and is competing solely against other Canadian sides...but I do hope to fly Alaska to Portland to watch TFC play at Providence Park after enjoying a whole Thai roast chicken from the world famous Pok Pok, very very soon!

I flew on that plane from PHL-LAX after Thanksgiving last year.
As always, nicely done. Alaska would be my third choice flying transcon first class. American and JetBlue (Mint) I feel are much better than the dated, inconvenient 2-2 seating on Alaska. I never fly UAL. United’s first class/Polaris service is a sadistic joke. Thanks for sharing your travels with us!

Great trip report! Maybe Alaska Airlines has lower first class fare for a lower hard product. But what about JetBlue?
