"do you all love your basketball clubs as much as your football clubs" the thing is... they are the same club, we love the club period
So true we are for the club even on Ping pong 😅😅😅🇬🇷
That´s it!!
The club is a type of religion
Yeah. They are omnisport clubs. One organisation has a team in basketball, a football club and clubs in other sports.
Defending and support the city!!
In German football, they practice a so-called 50+1 rule. That means the supporters own 51% of their clubs. This is to make sure no billionare or big corp can do what they’d like without the fans having their voice heard.
In england there is actually something similar at most clubs. Chelsea for example. The fans own the rights to the pitch but not the stadium and have a say on what happens to it and what is played. Nobody knows about this though. I own some of the Stamford bridge pitch
Same in Sweden, no owners what so ever
beautiful!
Same here in Sweden and we for sure want the 51% rule to stay.
The thing that most Americans don’t understand about sports in Europe is that most people are not just fans they are club members. I was stationed in Europe for about half of my 24 year military career and believe me there is nothing like it over here. Example: in 2000 I arrived in Italy stationed with NATO I had two colleagues from the UK both from Liverpool and both Everton supporters, they both told me about a kid in their youth system that was 14 years old. That kid was Wayne Rooney, they had been watching/tracking this kid since he was 9 years old. That happens all across Europe in every club and in most of the sports. In many families over there a child is born, gets vaccinated, a birth certificate and then is made a member of the club that their family supports. I watched the European national basketball championship that was held in Turkey, the sound that came from the tv transmission scared me and I was in Iraq at the time. Real talk, people die at some of the derbies (intra-city games), it would blow your mind to attend these games in person. The volume, the spirit, the passion is all encompassing.
Everman=Everton
@@ouwesdebouwes3224 auto-correct got me
It's Everton not everman
"and I was in Iraq at the time"
💀
The difference between sport in America and Europe is how you interpret the show.
In America the game is the show, while in Europe the audience is literally part of the show, the audience can change the fate of a game radically even for a wrong free throw from opponents. Basketball stadiums are organized into sectors where the same audience is divided into teams of ultras, in such a way as to organize choirs and support their players. It's different culture. And love for the sport and your country
Unlike the US where you can have the NY Giants, NY Knicks, NY Jets and those are three DIFFERENT things, in Europe it is mostly the SAME name/team/franchise accross ALL sports.
From football and basketball to boxing and tennis, you will have the same team, e.g. Panathinaikos or Barcelona. So you are a fan of the team.
The ultras do not care which sport goes down. They might pop-up and scream and chant and play their drums even in an "under-18" amateur league for kids, as long as those kids are playing for their team. They actually do that :D
What these guys don't understand is, you might have 17 000 fists coming at you, but you also have 17 000 fists behind you.
Them European basketball ultras crazy. Btw Real Madrid got a team as well. Luka Doncic came from there. Got most titles as well 🤔😉
Down with francos team..
@@craigcassidy6078 considering franco got barca out of debt i say you need to do your research.
@@craigcassidy6078 hahaha are you crying this early? The worst part is that he is lying. That's nor true you loser
Real M. dont have ultras.
@@vatri357 they do
In Serbia, Red Star is dominant team. But couple years back club was having some problems, and the team underperformed so when they lost another game they should've won the fans came to their training tomorrow barged in the locker room had a meeting with the players, gave them couple of slaps.
Similar thing was when the players didn't get their paycheck on time, and they started crying about it in the media, one even shared some exaggeration like not having money for shampoo, so the fans showed up in front of his house, smashed the shit out of his car and left him couple of bottles of shampoo.
There are many stories like these
Copa90 has a documentary on the Boca vs River game and it got so bad that they had to finish the finals in a different country
Most of us would prefer success on the football field instead of the basketball court, but it doesnt take away from the passion we have for our clubs since most clubs have both a football and basketball team along with other sporting genre's.
Gist is one of the most respected player for my Panathinaikos and the whole of European basketball fans respect James we miss you dude ☘️☘️☘️⛰️ hopefully the Greek freak will make understand that mentally cheers guys great reaction
Yh we need that part 2 asap !!!!! In Europe it's more than a game
Thanks for the comment
In Europe football, basketball, volleyball etc. are under the same clubs. So fan bases are not split like the USA( for example you could be a Miami Heat Fan but not a dolphins fan). That's why you see so much passion even in less popular sports like volleyball or handball etc. Still, the best way to understand it is to go to Greece in early June to watch the Greek basketball finals against Olympiakos and Panathinaikos. This is a small clip to better understand the feeling while inside the stadium czcams.com/video/e4paDYdOZ9E/video.html. Cheers
Wow, that's just crazy on a whole other level.
Football is obviously the nr1 sport in Europe but Basketball is also a global sport and is the 2nd most popular team sport over here.
And like you said its all about your club so a lot fans just support their club no matter if its football or basketball, male or female, instead of just supporting a single team
You guys should react to the other parts of this series because they also add visuals of some of the situations they are talking about, and the stories are get even crazier !
dude i beg you watch "EUROPEAN COACHES ARE SAVAGE" it´s so funny xD
so much this!
Loved this. I lived and worked in Athens in 2001-2005, near the old Panathinaikos stadium on Alexandras Avenue. My apartment was about ten blocks away. I would always know when there was a home game, because when I went out on the balcony or left the house, I would smell tear gas. Just do a CZcams search for Panathinaikos or PAOK fan videos - it's another planet, as the players said. Fireworks - big ones - flares, and look at how far the fans are kept from the court. At some football games, they use mounted riot police to keep fans in the stands. A sample - czcams.com/video/4mDkhksNZdw/video.html - and as you said, how do you concentrate as a player?
And just think what it must be to be a ref in these places!
I was there when the Greek national team won the European football cup (2004 UEFA championship, beating 150-1 odds) for the first time in 24 years, and Athens was absolutely still during the games - no traffic, no one out - and when they scored a goal, the whole city would explode in sound. The celebration in the streets that followed was incredible - flares, police cars with sirens on and cops hanging out of the cars cheering, dump trucks full of people waving flags.
There's an article out there from about four years ago, either ESPN or SI, where they interviewed a bunch of European rookies in the NBA who had played in France, Israel, Turkey and Greece. The writer asked them if they felt intimidated playing in the LA Forum or MSG, and apparently they looked at the guy as if he was nuts - responding with stories about playing in places where the bench areas had a hard plastic cover over the top to keep the players and coaches from getting hit with cellphones or batteries thrown from the stands, and where the coaches had to shout in the pregame and halftime in the locker room to be heard by the players.
I'd go back in a minute. Hope I can retire there.
Very fun reaction! Keep it up
Practically ultras go watch every sport their team plays
About 90% of the WNBA players actually play overseas during the off season! Also Paige Bueckers is going WNBA but will also most likely play overseas also.
We support football, basketball, handball, vollyball etc. It’s the passion for the club till the end of our lives
you 2 are one of the best american reaction channels....i love your brother he is so sweet......u two are the best!!! best reactions !!!
Fun fact
Real Madrid and Barcelona have a Basketball clubs
Fuego reaction 🔥🔥🔥
You guys to funnny! Love your reactions!
Soccer teams have basketball teams too. So you’re still supporting your club or city
You got to understand that this is a tradition since all the clans and kingdoms use to go to war.
Love the uploads
Here you go. Finally. Great reaction !!! Next stop "My first German Soccer game" by Connor Sullivan.
Another dope reaction 🔥 Pls react to part2
5:30 Well that may happened when you are playing like a guest buuut when you play at home the fans are your +1 player because thats their job
it's wild out there lol
Facts appreciate the comment
10:50 - that's gotta be super intense even if you're at home, but as much as it probably amazing to win as a guest with a stadium jam-packed with nothing but the opposing team's fans, it's probably real bad if you lose as the home team to disappoint the whole stadium.
23:20 - some things might be worth sacrificing your life over, but I don't think it is for sport clubs - the passion is impressive, but it ain't worth it if you are gonna get seriously injured over it or even dying.
Part 2, go get it!!
I heard about it but it crazy to hear about it from the players
best reaction haha plz make all parts
Thank you my guy
React to part 2!!
Mookie Dunson is a legend
European Basketball culture includes hardcore ultras in the Balkans brother specially Serbia , Greece you cant compare to others its like in a football stadium at derbys!
speaking of football, it has happened that some Napoli players have been robbed, in fact some players have decided to leave , if you leave their team you are a traitor, they are among the worst fans in Serie A
I don't think you're going to get give everyone a whooping. European Football fans fight back and are like clans. lmao.
I am from Croatia and that was funny story! :) Respect to you guys
Mookie got it right in the end.... P.S fun story i know, 2 brothers(5.5ft tall!) and a very cocky spanish player(6.9ft) who was very annoying faked lot of fouls etc.... they caught him in the players tunnel and beat him up fast! after that they got banned, from 'euroleauge" i think ... spanish player dropped in cockiness by 70%
we do love the club. That's it. In namy places, it include volleyball, handball...
It’s the same club, that’s the point bro :D Same Real Madrid, same Panathinaikos, Same club, just different sport .
I am from Poland . Couple days ago here was some incydent with Players of Legia Warsow, basically they are champions ship team, but right now they are in bottom of the whole Polish soccer league. So all the fans are really mad about that. Legia played other team and they lose so group of ultras (dirty fans) invade the team bus and beat couple players from team. There is affair becouse of that. Like I said this was couple days ago. You can read something about it. That's what you got when you playing really bad in Europe even if you was always the best team in country, but have some really bad momentum.
Wow that’s crazy
@@dunsonhouse yeah, what's even crazier that it's not the first time something like that happening.
@@dunsonhouse Another crazy is that they won 4:0 next match after 13 or so losses and draws. Fathery love works . ;)
@@dunsonhouse That's nothing. In Latin-America players get killed.

keep up the reactions man! Next you should react to Bayern Munich road to the final
Honestly if such a thing like the "Malice at the palace" would happen and a player would dare to storm the enclosure that player would encounter a whole mob of Fans chasing him in order to beat the shxx out of him....no joke.
I act see that
European clubs are part fraternity part army, like for real. Some are dedicated to making the flags, some lead the chants, some lead the drums, some arrange transport for away matches etc. they have a real organization to them.
Do more parts
American fans are fans
European fans are warriors
Yo nice reaction
When is part 2?
Coming soon my guy
Do the part 2 👍🏽
400 likes we got you thanks for watching my guy
do part 2 please 👊👊👊
The biggest Euro ball teams are normally apart of the biggest Football clubs i.e. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Galatasaray, Bayern Munich, etc.
Wow appreciate the comment
Bayern Munich not so much. Panathinaikos and Olympiakos is up there though.
Bro, its the same club. For ex. ,,Crvena Zvezda- Belgrade,, has football team, basketball team, waterpolo team, volleyball team ect. and the fans are the same and they go on all games
Drop that part 2 quick quick
Lol 400 likes my guy
@@dunsonhouse Aight bet
Yes manny take example if you go in another country in the stands are full off the suporters off that country and you are a team from another country of cource you go to winn and even if no one is there to scream for you you still winn. That happens all the time ,of cource you have a small crowd from your country but the whole stadium is full off strangers and you winn. 🥰
Hi guys, I'm an Italian basketball fan and I'd love for you to make a video where you explain to us if there are great rivalries in the NBA as in Europe. We show you sport in Europe, how about showing us how the NBA is? I would love to see it.
LIANGELO ball said they would heat up coins and quarters and drop them on players in the tunnel.
Usually, when there are 2 teams, that are big rivals, the will put the hardcore fans ( Ultras ) to the far left and the far right of the court. So you can enjoy your game from the middle section, where you worry just a little bit less that a flare can lit up over your head in any moment :D
You understood, BRO! It's a cultural thing! It's madness! Anyway the sport!
React to avalancha en futbol argentino! cheers!
In middle east is something else
i remember in egypt between Masry and Ahly. 74 people were killed and more than 500 were injured after thousands of Masry spectators stormed the stadium stands and the pitch, following a 3-1 victory by their team, and violently attacked Ahly fans using clubs, stones, bottles, and fireworks, trapping them inside the El Ahly partition of the stadium.
Ahh yeah I remember that as well. Some 10 years ago right?
As usual Im here again xD
Just to answer your first question. Sports doesn't go like you guys have. For us ( By us I mean the rest of the world), Usually teams play under the same logo for different sports and if you're lucky enough, your team could be playing in top competitions in all sports and that's when we show up every day for every sport under the same flag
That is not true
That only happens in spain and the balkans
Have you seen Liverpool basketball team? Me neither
@@juanantoniogomezdelpulgarg2273 Portugal is not Spain or Balkans and has Basketball teams
@@TheHipHop_Junkie bro
Portugal doesn't even know what basketball is
@@juanantoniogomezdelpulgarg2273 it's not about the sport or how good your team is. Ultras and Bara brava support their team no matter what condition they're in. You're talking about good teams in all sports and i'm talking about passion. For example our local team even it is a small city but we won the champions league of africa in football, basketball, volleyball and handball. So yeah, stop being so damn closed and try to imagine that there more people, thoughts, ideas, traditions .. than u know xd
@@kridennabil6497 i only said that having many sport teams is not that everyone does
It is true that there are some clubs in África mostly in north africa who have more clubs
But as a cultural thing It only happens in spain and balkans and turkey
It's because it is the same thing. For example, Real Madrid has a football team, and a basketball team, even handball..Etc. so...if you are a Real fan, ...you're a fan...you support football, basketball, and everything else when you can.
You should react to manuel Neuer best saves. He is the best goal keeper of the last decade
To think Luka was destroying this scene at 17
Facts
When I saw he wasn’t picked from the Suns and the Kings I knew that will go down in history as the worst draft mistakes of those two clubs 🤯🤷

you can go fight in the crowd in europe but you better be prepared to fight a coupled thousand of them but dont get it twisted if the enemey fans spit on you you already know your fans gonna beat the fuck out of them so as a player you dont have to fight we do that for you its a part of being a player at our team we got your back no matter what

Welcome to Serbia 🇷🇸Belgrade 🇷🇸 Partizan 🇷🇸Grobari 🇷🇸
Talking about a tough crowd in the US…😂
My dude is absolutely clueless, isn’t he? 😂😂😂
you call it "love for sport", we call it tradition
Hello , look to lithuanian kaunas Zalgiris arena, its amazing
In Europe, it is the mafiosis that rule so they do not matter which team you play for. Every time you go outside the club, you are a player they can crush. It has come so far that some streets in a certain city kill each other there.
They don't allow other team's fans in the same arena so they don't kill each other
not only the fans go crazy over european basketball, the speakers go even more crazy, try this for reaction "CSKA VS OLYMPIAKOS 61-62 EUROLEAGUE CHAMPIONS 6 DIFFERENT COMMENTATORS"
Enemy player going to the crowd is something you dont do cuz simply they see you as enemy first and player second.
Of course my team is Partizan no matter what sport we go and support even when girls play
React to 15 things you didnt no about Lionel Messi plzzzzz..also Borussia Dortmund have arguably the best ultras in football...not for violence just the shows the produce and organisation 👌
Im greek.
Its the same club just now we play basket
I wouldn’t even want to go to the opposing teams stadium in Europe. Even in Los Angeles I don’t go to la galaxy’s stadium because I support lafc.
Appreciate the comment
europe sports is passion and war
You guys skipped Candice Parker’s story. Just letting you know. But great video
I think its more like a cultural thing and loving the actual club regardless if its the football, basketball or handball team to name a few. Sports were always a big thing in Europe and so is supporting them. Just think about it, the gladiators in Rome were regarded and praised like athletes for example, but most important the Greeks invented the fucking olympics... so there's a very long history of watching, enjoying and supporting sports
Europe is just built different dawg!
Facts
If you want buzzerbeaters in Euroleague, watch Diamantidis and Spanoulis.. the Greek gods
BUT, THE AMBIANCE, THE ATMOSPHER, ARE CRAZY, THAT'S SURE !
We are supporters. Not fans. Love from Greece.
React to Facu Campazzo plis
In Europe you give your life for your Children, Wife and your Team.......................thats it!!!
Playing in a basketball game with only opposing team's fans is pretty much the standard away-game experience when playing juvenile (10-18 years old) basketball in europe :P The only ones supporting you are those who drove you there XD
Lol, if you ever want to know what "30.000 boots to the face" looks like, then you have to react to "HOOLIGANS & ULTRAS VS POLICE (PSG, FENERBAHCE, RED STAR, NAPOLI, SPARTAK MOSCOW & MORE".
1:30 there is only one club...lets say...Panathinaikos F.C. they have a football team, a basketball team..a waterpolo team a handball team...doesn't matter the same suporters will attend every sport event of their club
The madness in the palis..if that happend in Europe the the player's wil not come alive out if the station
