@@mechmoh1421 2019 that was the first season after Ronaldo left and it was probably the worst season I’ve ever seen from Real Madrid and while we all felt like the post Ronaldo era was going to be difficult for them, they’ve planned for the future very well. Since 2020, they’ve made it to 3 straight UCL semifinals, they actually won another champions league title in an unbelievable way, in the last 4 seasons, Real Madrid has won 2 league titles which is equivalent to the number of league titles Ronaldo won during his time there and even after letting go of some of these legends leave, it’s not stopping them from winning and players that be served the club well they’re not afraid to make big decisions and be ruthless towards them.
They’ll most likely win La Liga this season and that’ll mean that since 2018, they’ve won more league titles in the last 6 years than they did when Ronaldo was there which is crazy to even believe. Now they’re about to add Mbappe to such a talented squad which means they’re set for the future.

Even if PSG wins the champions league this season, it’s obviously the right time for Kylian Mbappe to go to Real Madrid. This is a move that’s been expected to happen for so many years and when he rejected them in 2022, everyone says that he only stayed at PSG because of the money and Real Madrid shouldn’t consider signing him in the future, 2 years later this move is set to happen.
It would be great if he finishes his PSG career by helping them win the Champions League, but from his perspective it’s a good move for his career to leave. I understand why he stayed at PSG for a little longer, he wants to deliver a UCL title to his hometown and that will mean so much to him, but the reality is he’s outgrown this football club and he’s way too good for Ligue 1. He’s playing well, he can’t stop scoring and he is a Ballon Dor contender which tells you how good he is, the guy is the best player in the world at the moment, but as we saw with Neymar and we’ve seen this with Mbappe’s own career as well, at PSG people don’t care about how well you play domestically in Ligue 1, as your legacy there is only evaluated off of the champions league. Overall, the league isn’t as competitive as the premier league or La Liga and a move to Real Madrid is good for his image, he’ll have the right supporting cast around him and he’ll also get more exposure to playing in a much more competitive league. At the age of 25, he’s at his peak and with what he’s achieved so far for club and country winning the World Cup already has 250+ goals for PSG, with success at Real Madrid and some champions league titles to his name, he’d cement his legacy as a footballing great. He has to also prove critics wrong at Real Madrid in a sense that he’s been playing for PSG since 2017/18 and he’s averaged a G/A a game, but when he’s scoring goals and playing at an unstoppable level, everybody says that he’s only doing it in a “farmers league” ignoring his exploits at the World Cup and the Champions League the highest level of competition in club football against the best teams in the world. For example this is what Erling Haaland proved wrong at Manchester City, as with the goals he was scoring at Borussia Dortmund, everyone said anyone can score in the “farmers league”, yet in his very first season in the most competitive league in the world coming from the Bundesliga to the premier league, he broke the scoring record and dominated a tough league. Mbappe has to do something like that at Madrid in La Liga. He has the ambition to win trophies and there’s no better place to do that and win the Ballon Dor than at Real Madrid. The best part about this transfer is that they’re signing him on a free without paying a fee. He’s about to have some fun at Madrid.

@@hamzahzee3843 what I was saying is that even if PSG wins the champions league this season, they know that it won’t convince Mbappe to stay. He’s been excellent for them and it’s great that he’s committed to helping his hometown win their first ever UCL title which is good and something that’ll mean a lot to him bringing home a champions league title to Paris before he leaves, overall it’s the right time for him to finally move on and leave PSG.
The reality is that with what we saw with Neymar and Mbappe’s career as well, unless you win the champions league at PSG, people won’t give you your flowers for how well you perform domestically in Ligue 1. Going to Real Madrid gives him more exposure to play in a better and more competitive league and that’s something he needs if he wants to be among the greats in football. For PSG he’s averaged a G/A a game there, he’s been at the club since 2018 yet already has 250+ goals for them, he’s a World Cup winner, he’s produced on the big stage and he’s a Ballon Dor contender for 2024, yet despite this everyone says that “he only does it in a farmers league”. That’s a narrative that he needs to prove wrong in his debut season at Real Madrid because when Haaland was scoring goals for Borussia Dortmund, everyone was saying he did it in an easy league, in his debut season in the most competitive league in the world, how many players can transition from the Bundesliga to the Premier League and break the scoring record. That’s what he did proving that he’s an elite striker and not a player who only did it in the “farmers league” and that’s what Mbappe has to do at Real Madrid.

As a Madrid fan, we will always want to dominate against big teams, and waste opportunity to destroy small teams, but Kylian has experience with preying on small teams in France so that problem is eliminated. another problem is Madrid can have quality but there's always an air of nonchalance in games against Barca and Atletico if it's not UCL. We can beat them 2 games in a row and the third game, we'll play like we don't really want to play then they'd wash us 3-0 or 4-0. also, a team of black men in Spain with racism + the hate that Real Madrid is too good will definitely affect new players like Kylian and Endrick (don't forget that Kylian is Frances's treasure and he's treated with care and limited hate in France, compared to Vinicius in Spain where a lot of people prefer Barca to win la Liga than Real). yeah, the game is way more than drawing out an elite squad on paper. I know the chemistry will be perfect in the dressing room thanks to the charisma of Camavinga and Vini (no language barriers for Jude and Brahim). I just hope Brahim doesn't leave cuz of Endrick and now Arda is starting to show his quality with the limited minutes he gets. Don Carlo has too much work to do lol. Sorry I typed too much. Not trying to be different here but the galacticos were a superteam with players in their primes and they still didn't work out. Either everything goes perfect for madrid and all these players keep improving whilst winning or the more likely scenario is their inexperience will show.
Theres just not enough creativity nor technical ability in that midfield at all. Theres a reason why either one of modric or kroos have been a must this season and they're typically the best players on the pitch for them game in game out. Why City playing better than Madrid? Because they have that balance with Kdb Silva Rodri which Madrid had back in the day with Case Modric Kroos
Even with Mbappe, still City will be the better team. It matters a lot more to have a better midfield rather than attack.
Madrid doesn t have a replacement for Modric... What 442 in rombo or 451 with vini as a 9,all rubbish.. Real.needs to go back to 433 but only if they find a replacement for Modric and that is only one Wirtz.. Now they all got muscles muscles , strenght but none of them is creative, none of them can replace Modric, only Diaz but he s not a started and even if he is,he s not on the same lvl as Modric
That s the problem for Madrid lacking of creativity in the Midfield

    @tobaepebinuade5830 Před 2 měsíci +1

I think on paper, Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe is a perfect fit. He’s a superstar talent, at the age of 25 he’s already a proven player at the highest level of football, a Ballon Dor candidate for 2024 and he can elevate the team to a while new level and he’s been destined to play for them for a long time and him playing with Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham it’s a dream, but from a tactical perspective is it truly a good fit for the team.
The reason I say that is because we all know that Mbappe is at his best when he cuts in from the left. We see this with PSG and the France national team, the problem is that they already have Vinicius Junior one of the best wingers in the world. I know that he’s played as a CF this season, when Mbappe arrives, Ancelotti will stick with the 2 striker formation if he benches Rodrygo or go 4-3-3 with Vini Mbappe and Rodrygo in attack, Bellingham a bit deeper. He’s had a brilliant season at PSG and half of his minutes there he’s been used as a number 9 and obviously he doesn’t mind playing there sometimes, remember 18 months ago he was weeping about how he didn’t like playing as a striker. On the France national team whether he plays out wide or as a striker, he thrives off of playing with a target man like Olivier Giroud. He is the best player in the world right now and when a player of Kylian Mbappe’s caliber is available on a free transfer, you have to absolutely sign him because apart from the wages, you don’t have to pay anything in terms of transfer fee even though in the market he would cost you around 300+ million, but from a footballing perspective Erling Haaland would be a better fit for Real Madrid than Mbappe. Mbappe is obviously the better player, but the team needs a number 9 because the worst scenario if they sign him is he’s scoring goals yet isn’t happy about playing out of position which could lead to some issues in the dressing room and that’s something you don’t want happening getting him and not using him in his natural position. We’ll see what happens, since he’s so good at working with superstars, Carlo Ancelotti will make some tactical adjustments to make sure that the Mbappe project works.

I think people forget how each galacticos era (05 and 09) both failed. Football is not just about starpower its about getting the correct profiles to fit and to get the perfect balance of functionality + structure combined with individual brilliance. Barcelona right now are in a similar phase they were back in 05 and 09, with many brilliant la masia talents rising up the ranks. Never underestimate how far continuity passion and playing for the badge goes in football. I am not sure how Mbappe is going to fit with vini rodrygo and bellingham, vini and bellingham occupy the spaces mbappe thrives in, and I think bellinghams role will have to become more holding to cater for mbappe since right now he is a false 9. Mbappes main issue at PSG was having to play as a target 9 with messi and neymar operating in the flanks, and i do not see what the difference is on this madrid team in terms of the dynamic. I feel like there is going to be a lot of egos clashing and there is going to be a period where they have to sort things out and find where everyone fits.

Gotta side with Mbappe on that one. Neymar and Mbappe co-existed just about enough to reach a UCL final. Despite joining late, Mbappe had more to give PSG even as a teenager. It's his country and his home club, he has romantic ideologies for it. He urged the club to remove the lazy South American core that had plagued the club for more than a decade and plant a young French core instead. Now there's Zaire-Emery, Barcola, Kolo Muani, Dembele, Mukiele and Lucas Hernandez at PSG to give that French connection, all joined in the last two years. That's power.
Now that he's done what he wanted to do, he can start winning for himself. Like you said, Ancelotti knows what to do with big icons.

Respect to the Madrid guys... Respect to you Skills...
I just wonder if I'm the only one that realized that this is the Blackest Real Madrid has ever been.
So proud of my club for showing that they sign players regardless of Race... If you are good, you are good.
I used to think my team was racist especially during BBC era, only afro player was Marcelo.

Madrid investments go for the last 10 years now. They are very good on the market when it comes to players and planning for the future.
In the last 10 seasons so since 2013/14, Madrid has net spending per season -20m€ per season in average. So every season, on average, they are -20m€. And they have this team. While the Spanish counterpart Barcelona has -50m€ per year, on average in the last 10 seasons. So Barcelona spent 300m€ more than Madrid in the last 10 years, and a weaker team that can hardly compete from what we see. Just imagine how much money is 300m€. And considering the wages, poor investments in players, etc. Numbers are probably even worse. Papa Perez is doing an outstanding job.
Every Madrid fan out there should be grateful for having such an amazing president who runs a club to the highest level without oil money.

I agree but dude think again about this it wasn't just BBC it was
    cristiano benzema bale
    kros casi Luka
    marcelo ramos varane carvajal
    navas
    vs
    vini kylian rodygo
    beli tchoamini valverdi
    garcia rudiger militao carvajal
    courtoia
My issue is that you might be a little bit underestimating the old generation, but still we have a good bench now

The problem with that lineup is, no real skillful midfielder who can dribble and pass the ball around like Modric has been doing for years. You do have physical and runners in the midfield

may I remind you that the first galacticos era (2000-2006) only won 1 CL and 2 La Ligas.. so players dont usually equal championships, madrid need a new coach, as good as ancelotti is, his tactics wont work against the modern tactics, we saw that in the 22-23 season where madrid were battered 4-0 by city, and we see it this season where madrid were struggling against liepzig! as the saying goes: attack wins you games defence wins you titles. madrid need to sign a quality ( not injury prone) defender, because madrid's current defence is rather questionable.
