Well it is about time we change that, so we took the kayaks out with a new rc boat by SkyTech. You definitely cannot beat the price on this RC, and it is our first boat with reverse!

Yes, the problem with low-end boats is no reverse which means in the pool they get stuck in the corner. While the remote is a downside, reverse and low price win out.

This is the third boat I've seen you guys test and I can't believe how far RC boats have come since 1992. The old traxxas was a bath tub toy compared to what I have seen this morning. I always like to complement you tubers on the quality of their videos and yours are professional quality.😎

I got this for my birthday from Kristal. She ordered it on Amazon so,pretty cool. I havent had it out yet,waiting for her to have some time off from work. Until the Kitchen is finished,everyday is work day for me. I have to install the range hood yet. The wife is very happy with the dishwasher( cannot even hear it run) So happy wife,happy life for me.

I was expecting it to just sort of put around rather slowly for the price. I was pretty surprised at the performance of it too :-D If you happen to drive these in salt water, rinse them off with a hose pretty thoroughly after running them ;) Have fun!

Cool little boat! Seems like it doesn't tip easy, but damn it turns fast! I have only had 2 boats in my life, as far as I can remember . A Proboat Widowmaker that was similar to this really, maybe slightly larger, but higher cost. It had some problems with propellers and I think this is probably better in some ways. I also have a Traxxas Spartan. Now, that one cost more and is amazing. But, pricey. $40 for this is good low cost RC fun! Cool boat and video! Thumbs UP!

i have one and love it...did not charge battery properly the other day and it ran out of juice in the middle of a pond...luckily I got a long wooden pole from a nearby cafe and was able to poke it and get it back to the side without getting wet :)
That Little Boat that Could!!!
Walmart carries this online. Also, I used the guts from mine to rebuild my old wheeler express yacht model. Had to swap the SkyTech motor since the brushes do not like running hard for long periods of time, but that may be due to me having put in a larger boat.
*Transmitter beep is actually boat battery. This boat does talk to the transmitter about the onboard battery level.

That's a really fast and cool little boat for only $40 I'd have never guessed it'd be that fast for that low price ,I mean it's probably running at least 20 mph and throwing a little bit of a wake to lol I've gotta have one now
This was my first RC boat. It was fun until I got two others that were faster. Definitely use it as a rescue boat.

I have this little RC and you will have to grease the drive shaft at the inner back of the craft after a bit to keep the hull from filling with water. Other than that it is a really nice RC.

Nate, I like the "early-stage stache" look. Seriously though, appreciate the video. For $40 that looks great but I was curious about how the internal boat looked post-run. Was there any water in there or was it pristine (how I'd expect it to be)? Also, as you jump up in price, is there a significant difference in feature/capabilities and if so at what level do you really start seeing it? Lastly, there appeared to be a digital screen on the remote (controller) but we didn't get to see what, if anything, it showed. I've yet to click on the link and am about to do that -so I'm sorry if some of the questions are redundant as they are answered by the link.

What is the difference between this 100 and the 101 version? I notice that the 101 is self righting and is actually cheaper. Interested in your opinion and if you had a chance to test a 101.
that looks EXACTLY like the UDIRC 001 Venom boat. Except the Venom comes with a proper remote. And different color scheme obviously. You all should review the Traxxas Blast v2 for your next boat review.

You should try a Parrot HYDROFOIL it's the best of both with a normal flying mode and tricks then the boat side also a camera on it. I haven't tested my one on water yet but is super easy to switch beetween. Cool video my friends. ✌

Looks like a 90's transmitter. I had a lot of them as a kid for all kinds of RCs.

yea I got one to but it's green and gray and a different body and you can't go backwards with it much it will flood the inside and I got confused to why was it not working because I had to put it on the water 🤣
