Let me clarify to people who don't think deeply. It's a random outcome that luck, momentum, penalties and such are the key reason for outcome. You can make 70 shots they all hit goalie or hit defenders etc. You play,hard...to say well...what do u tell a,team...u play hard..players know it.

You started out fine but got impatient and then you blinked and changed your offensive focus back to the way you played Skinner to start the Series, you went looking for deflections off of shots from the top middle, this was a bit jumpy . There was no recognition that the early goals were not generated by your System they were Skinner screw ups on pedestrian shots and situations.....in other words, you need to let Skinner hang himself so feed him some variety . If you would have just kept your Offense the way you started with it then simply added a few net drives looking for dekes or in close shots, say 30% of your Possessions then you will get a better result. You have to work in Pairs in the o-zone , the KISS Give-and-go has scored more NHL goals than any playaction in history...30% of your o-zone possessions have to be driven to the net and its always better to drive the net and to follow up with a Friend in a give-and-go..,simple math. Give Skinner variety and shoot from different places distances angles and times,(use a TSP or Tactical Shooting Program to work him over) focus on converting your o-zone possessions to shots on net at a higher %, dont waste to much time setting up, Desharnais is a penalty machine but for some reason his high drama francophone facial expressions and eye rolls get him a hall pass....poor officiating IMHO because he is working the slot critical area.Tell Garland pick his spots and to school him with dipsy-doodles, and tell Petey to not be afraid to dangle a little more. Kanes groin is shot, Leons high ankle is shot, Connors dinged up, Eckholms hurting, you have them softened up now. Just play 1 true Vancouver Canucks game and put this Series to bed already.

Well I hope demko can generate some offence or at least put more shots on the oilers net and maybe stop all the neutral ice turnovers and not blow his defensive assignments which lead to two in ones and while he’s at it he can maybe stop guys from walking around his defence at the blue line ....your goalie is not and has not been the problem, in all reality he’s has saved your ass more times than not. Edmonton is the one with the weak goaltending and Canucks can’t take advantage of that ...Canucks can’t recognize an opportunity when they see one

Series would have been done in 5 but the oilers need to score 4 to 5 goals a game to win which is ridiculous. Oilers are underachievers and Canucks are overachievers, so should be a good game 7.
Tocchet is grand standing and telling the Canucks that the game is a “flush” and game seven is a new game. I played hockey and I call “B.S.”. When the Canucks take the ice tomorrow they’ll know that the Oilers fed them their lunch and it will play in the heads.
