its so heartbreaking because when jiriya died one of the things that made naruto sad was because he wanted him to see him become hokage and prove that hes a worthy ninja, but that scene right there showed jiriya already knew his worth and potential and believed in him right from the beginning:')

The reason Pain was not standing in the circle doing the ritual with the other akatsuki's is because he literally said in the previous scene that he was going to attack the hidden leaf, thats also a point you didnt talk or discussed

Many things i appreciate while watching this reaction, but the most i like these 3 :
1. They still enjoying the opening song even though they don't want to see the animation
2. They still remember and recognize that book was from the scene that Minato read it and named Naruto after that book main character
3. Happily saw Killer B not captured yet and still out there

I mean, it's 50/50 for me. When Kishimoto draws adult Naruto he looks really good, the haircut actually suits him. The anime... Yeah...
His dad had many enemies and therefore it was kept a secret for his safety. It was also the reason that he was given "Uzumaki" as his last name 😃

Naruto would have likely always been an Uzumaki based on Japanese naming conventions. The name of the bigger more important clan is the one that's inherited. Namikaze isnt a important clan name. Although being Hokage may have made it important enough to be inherited.
In case you didn't understand, everyone Mangekyou has 2 abilities (one for each eye).
Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan abilities are Amaterasu in one eye, and Kagatsuchi "Flame control" (allows him to control amaterasu, the shape of the flame, and to even extinguish the flames) in his other eye.
They did him dirty. Itachi got tsukiyomy and sasuke gets a antidote for his other power

Hearing Killer Bee's "rhymes / bars" is to know pain.
This is where Naruto (the character) starts to really grow into young adult Naruto.
Jiraya's death and a meeting with a certain someone all play into his character development: mentally, physically (as seen with the training) and spiritually.

Your question about Naruto and his parents and why people don't tell him...You must remember, most of the villages knows him as an orphan of the incident of the Nine-Tails, like so many others like Iruka for exemple...A part of the village knows he has the Nine-Tail and almost nobody know about his father and mother...It will be explain later why . BTW because of the Jiraiya story, they know so no spoilers...
I love the fact each person who read this book has a different best version of themselves fighting what they perceive as a bad guy...to Naruto it looks like an Akatsuki !! Funny but Minato's version is exactly himself, not a better version, but he sees his master inside it...

It's not really a substitution, he actually gave up one of his tail beast tails just like the horn that was cut from the previous jinchiruki.
