  • A dissection of the 120 cell in twelve rings of 10 dodecahedra. Two sets of six rings form 2 solid interlocked tori. The film starts by showing the 600 cell, the dual of the 120 cell.

Absolutely beautiful! I have never seen a 120-cell depicted in quite this way before. I never suspected that the dodecahedral cells came in rings! It reminds me a bit of the two rings of pentagonal antiprisms at the core of the grand antiprism.
Thank you so much for putting this video up on CZcams!

Are the cells ordinary 3d dodecohedras? İs the rotation double rotation? How did you get the first 4d coordinate of the single cell? İnverse stereographic projection? or by intersecting the 3d dodecohedras facets with hypersphere?

+Jos Leys I thought this looked very POVray-esque. Thanks for the info. In case you're interested, I created a few visualizations of animated hypercubes a few years ago. They're on my channel in the 4D Animation playlist.

Bonito cómo se parece a un toroide. El toroide tiene similitudes con la esfera 4D
