That it is entirely based on Globe physics, only works for observers at sea level and light would have to bend/refract in ways never before observed.

It does not go unnoticed you have not addressed Jos' challenge. How can a spotlight Sun reproduce the shapes in the video? A half-circle? Only a kind of deformed oval? All the surface except for the same deformed oval? Is that the angels who change the cache over the course of the year to make those shapes? 😏

@@lucbourhis3142 The point is that the surface is flat. Now what you see in space are just optical reactions that you have no way of verifying exact data. Already on the surface we can touch it, measure it and collect real data on the natural world. This is a fact.

Amusingly, a lot of young Earth creationist are really pissed off when it is pointing out to them the Bible describes a flat Earth. Even they recognise this is ridiculous a position to hold!

@@robguyatt9602 That said, it is also a consensus that by Early Christianity, flat Earth gave way to a globe Earth because of the influence of Greeks and Romans. So, yes, it is perfectly possible to read the Bible in that way too, but that does not change the fact that the authors of the Ancient Testament, who were supposed to have the closest connection to God, believed otherwise.

@@radvlad1431 But you do need a model that explains the facts this "cartoon" is based on. You also need maps that ships can use to navigate around the world. You also need to explain how GPS (regardless of how it is done) shows that lines of longitude get closer together the further south you go below the equator. Oh that's just a few out of hundreds of things you need to explain with good evidence.

That was no cartoon. That was data of the sun in the sky, showed over a projection of the earth below the sky. It is easy to compare with the reality.

Unless you move the center of that projection to the equator. Then each longitude 90˚ from zenith is the circle of altitude zero (the astronomical horizon).

On the flat earth you can even get a distorted circle of equal altitude where the GP lies outside this shape. I have an App that proves that. I want to see the flat earther that can handle that.

We live on a flat surface, and a flat space. The supposed dome is just the perspective of the observer's radius of vision. The world is flat.

We are living in a sphere, with a map of the stars in the sky. That is the perspective of the stars from the earth, in orbit around one of the stars. We are also living in the rotating gravity around a rotating planet. The angle from the plane of rotation is the latitude on the map. The plane of rotation is the straight line in the startrails and the straight latitude on the earth and on the map of the earth on a globe.

I live in a rural area, my only choice for the internet was dial up... 56k baud... If you think that slow internet, try using a 1200 baud, or even a 300 baud modem...
